How can anyone be so horribly ignorant to think that the Jews caused 9/11? How can anyone be that brainwashed to think that the Jews are trying to take over the world? Anyone else think these people are nuts?

Don't you get sick of hearing people tell you that you're going to hell? Why would you put yourself in that environment?

What's your favourite and next favourite..etc.? Do you have your own argument that you'd like to share?

1. Occam's Razor (God is much harder to explain than any
scientific theories, therefore the theories are most likely the correct explanations)
2. no evidence (well there isn't any)
3. evolution (God didn't create each species all at once, there was one common ancestor some 4 billion years ago which evolved)
4. contradictions and fallacies in Holy Books (there's a lot!)
5. the number of diverse religions in the world (not every religion can be right according to them)
6. poor morality and violence shown in Holy Books (isn't God supposed to be perfect?)

All I can think of right now.

I did have a spontaneous Christian Kundalini awakening (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) a few months ago although its settled down and on more of an even keel right now, but it was extremely powerful and overwhelming when it happened, very very positive overall though, it changed my life forever and crucified my old self to Christ. What about you, how did you feel, and what did it entail?

This is to those who believe in God. Do you believe God cares about the world, or just the US? Is it wrong of a Muslim to say "GOD BLESS THE WORLD" instead of just focusing on the US? There is one male on here (that's right, having the equipment doesn't make you a man) who keeps complaining that Muslims aren't saying God Bless the USA. First he was complaining that no Muslims speak out, and then when he was forwarded a bunch of links by a bunch of people, both Muslim and NonMuslim alike, he started complaining and still is complaining that the Muslims won't say "God Bless America". Why is he so angry that we are concerned about the world and are asking God to bless the world? WHy does he put himself above the people who can't even afford to be online or eat by demanding that he is blessed first when that is not the attitude anyone who believes in God should have? Am I wrong for caring about the world (and yes, I do my part, I'm just not going to brag about it), not just us?

I was born into an Atheist family and it has always left me curious about the situations that lead people to leave a religion.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't know that there are two creation stories in the bible. Please tell me which one you believe to be the correct story? Both stories can't be correct. Explain why you think the 1st or the 2nd one is correct.

Don't the Christians claim that god has revealed himself to them in many ways (the bible, that "feeling in their heart", creation, and prayer, etc.) and that they know their god exists?
Well doesn't this "revelation" cancel out the all important free will?
Or is it that the god can't reveal itself directly in person (or thing, whatever you consider god)?
It has to reveal itself indirectly and hint at its existence rather than coming out and saying it and showing you?

I realize it could be argued that everyone is technically an atheist at birth, but I mean a person who has reached an age of adult reasoning while being an atheist and then converted from atheism to Christianity. I'm not referring to a newborn baby before it is indoctrinated.

(I don't.) Hitler proclaimed himself to be a Catholic, so does that mean Catholicism and all Catholics are to blame for what he did.
Many would argue "No" on the basis that such an argument is foolish, or that "Hitler was not a true/good Catholic".

So how then is it justifiable to blame/hate all Muslims for 9/11?

If you think that's just, please explain, because I just don't get it!

My father is Catholic, my mother is Jewish. Is it possible for me to then be half Catholic and half Jewish? Or must I choose to practice only one of the two?

I can think of many, just not right off the top of my head. I want a list.
Which ones are you sick of seeing?
Out of these, which ones are yet to be answered adequately and which are not even worth asking?
I'm talking about any question here, whether the asker be Christian, atheist, Muslim, etc.

My question is spurred from another question I just saw about questions that need to be killed.

I propose that there be a FAQ sub-section within the R&S section, a doctrine of sorts. The "similar questions" function seems to be ineffective in deterring repetitive questions. I do realize many questions are asked just to get a reaction out of people and may be asked again and again for entertainment value. I am not necessarily saying we should eliminate these repetitive questions and inhibit free speech or press. I just think the most frequently asked questions shoud be listed on here like a bulletin.

I started practicing yoga in my country by the third time in my life. This time I like it much better because my trainer is more spiritual and I really feel the good effects of the practice. He teaches us some indi expresions such as " namaste" . He lived in India and sometimes he surprises us having us repeat prays in the same language. Can any body help me surprise him with caring expressions on my next class. I like my trainer a lot and wish him to feel proud of me.
Love from South america.
