As it has been impressed on me by observing many people over the years (admittedly through Christian spectacles), it appears that the three parts to your mission here on earth can be defined generally as follows:

(1) Your first Mission here on earth is one which you share with the rest of the human race, but it is no less your individual Mission for the fact that it is shared: and it is, to seek to stand hour by hour in the conscious presence of God, the One from whom your Mission is derived. The Missioner before the Mission is the rule. In religious language, your Mission here is: to know God, and enjoy him forever, and to see his hand in all his works.

(2) Secondly, once you have begun doing that in an earnest way, your second Mission here on earth is also one which you share with the rest of the human race, but it is no less your individual Mission for the fact that it is shared: and that is, to do what you can, moment by moment, day by day, step by step, to make this world a better place, following the leading and guidance of God's Spirit within you and around you.

(3) Thirdly, once you have begun doing that in a serious way, your third Mission here on earth is one which is uniquely yours, and that is:

a) to exercise that Talent which you particularly came to earth to use -- your greatest gift, which you most delight to use,

b) in the place(s) or setting(s) which God has caused to appeal to you the most,

c) and for those purposes which God most needs to have done in the world.

When fleshed out, and spelled out, I think you will find that there you have the definition of your Mission in life. Or, to put it another way, these are the three Missions, which you have in life.

i am christian and i am going to tell u about it from my point of view , well i asked my self that question lots of times before , i think that many do so any way , i tried at first to put some goals to achieve , like something at school or a relationship or somekind of sports , music , talent , all those things , they keep me busy for a while , but then i find it not that important , even after i acheive some of them , yeah cool but i am not satisfied , so one of my friends ( he's christian too) told me that nothing can satisfy u except God , he told me that he's the one who created u , he knows all ur keys and clues , so God must be ur purpose , and u should seek him , i do so through rading the bible , in order to know , how is God , which way is he thinking , what the things he wants us to be or what's the purpose that he created us . what's my role in this life , so i put God infront of me , pray to him and talk to him , saying plz God let me know u and seek u , and i am sure that u r going to show me the kind of life and role u want me to play , God is going to let u discover urself and know the things that u love to do through serving him , urself and other ppl , u r going to be important , even if u r to only one person , God is going to satisfy u , bcz i know that he is the one who created all the world , so he is much bigger than the world , i concluded that , nothing is going to satisfy me except God

so as i did , i think that u have to read the bible , go to church ,and speak to God ,always share the things u do with him , and he is going to lead u through the way he wants u to be and this is not bcz he wants to control u , its bcz he is sure that this way is the best for u , bcz he is the one who created u

it's all about God

take ur time and think about it , i hope it works ;)

good luck man /girl

You, like everyone else, is a living spirit that came from God and will return to God. Become perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

If you want it from the Bible:

Ecclesiastes 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

GOD bless
