After believing in one God, a Muslim is required to serve humanity -- and even animals and nature. Here is one authentic saying of Prophet Muhammad regarding neighbors:

The Prophet said, "By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!" It was said, "Who is that, O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil."

Here's another:

Allah's Apostle said, "Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously, and anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet. (i.e., abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk).

(both from Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8)

There are many sayings like the ones above, and as mentioned in the Koran, a Muslim is required to be honorable in behavior toward Muslim and non-Muslim alike. Unfortunately, the current media hype scapegoats all Muslims and prevents people from understanding what the teachings of Islam are really about.

And there gained’t be any the two till we/humanity renowned the guidelines of nature, and understand that humanity is a closed, international device, like an environment, the place a harmonious connection happens between all of its areas. little by capacity of little, by capacity of capacity of failures and suffering or by capacity of awakening our information to this purpose reality, the standard regulation of the excellent creation would be printed to all persons – “Love thy neighbor as thyself”!

They are Muslims not Christians, they have the Muslim equation, as devoutly as any Christians has faith and believes even unto the death so does a Muslim. Christians have The Holy Bible and Muslims have the Koran.
Love thy neighbor comes into the Christian equation.

Intolerant Christians make Muslims the exception to "love thy neighbor"...its more like "hate thy neighbor" for some.

I guess in the end, it only applies to them if their neighbor next door is a christian....

Bible does not make exceptions.

As a Christian, I have made it a habit of developing relationships with people of many cultures and have not limited myself from Muslims.

Yes, in the Muslim religion compassion is SUPPOSED to come first because in the Muslim religion, all are taught that fear of God who can destroy the soul is first and foremost.

Those lunatics in the mid-east to claim to follow "islam" are following their own sick idolatry.
