I consider myself Agnostic, constantly seeking proof of Gods existence, yet all the help i ever get is reading questions to Atheists. Is this a type of prejudice categorizing?

I was wondering if people realize how idiotic it makes them look when they give a thumb's down to a correct answer. It is pretty obvious that certain groups are poo-pooing answers just because it's not the side they are on. Is it really that hard to just ignore an answer you don't like instead of acting as though it is false information?

There is no Heaven, there is no hell, there is no judgment. We all will go to the same place and learn from the mistakes in past life, then we will be born again with a brand new chance to redeem ourselves, therefore there is nobody better than anybody, we are all equal.

Does that idea make you humble? Does that idea make you see the others with loving eyes? Does that idea make you be less judgmental? Does that idea make you feel better at all?

Why do people who have never been to a country only go by what they have heard or see on the TV? And why do news crews try so hard to portray all women as being swathed in sheets and bags when this is not the case? I've been to Pakistan, a so-called "islamic" country. You know, where you've heard of unislamic honor killings being done (Islam says rapist gets stoned to death, not victim). I remember getting off of the plane in Lahore and looking around. The entire trip, most women were very loosely covered, if covered at all. Many only had the "dupatta" hanging off of their shoulders, but not their heads covered. And the style of clothing is so tight that even big chested women don't need a bra. I actually had to fight to get my own clothing made loosely because it was so tight I could not breathe. Why do you people (not all, some) hold so tightly to stereotypes even when they're broken right in front of you?

AThe entire totatity of mankind is being held responsible collectively for the murder of a single man. That is my serious thinking. All the other so-called "sins" fall by the wayside and are not even considered.

I see here often how people says "Hitler was a Christian" or "Darwin converted to Christianity in his death bed" or " ut she is not a true Christian".

I ask you to share what is the authenticating mark of the true Christianity?

No matter how many times that I ask God's forgiveness I still struggle with am I going to heaven or not? I love God and I know that He sent Jesus to die for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him in heaven. There are times that I do not have this feeling but then it continues to come back. I also believe I am not suppose to have anxiety over my salvation that that is where faith comes in. So are any suggestions?????

It is hard to believe that it has been 6 years since 9/11. Odd how I can still remember so many details about that day. I remember how clear and blue the sky was that day. . .and how sad I felt while I fed my baby that evening, wondering why I bothered to bring a child into such a cruel world.

Did September 11th change you or effect you in any way spiritually and if so how?

A spirit, person, idea, principle, energy, ruler, white boy, concept, universal, big fat slob, suicide terrorist, turtle, ghost?
I asked a question. I mispelled a single word which I was not even trying to be a perfect speller. I received many answers in minutes. All but one said something from their religious position. The one corrected my one word mispelled. That is where his brain sits hopelessly stuck in mud. No one else had any problem understanding my question and neither they. Lip service is what I got and they think I would accept the idea of god based on their very limited intelligence. Dream on.

Often, I "hear" on this site Christians or others making the comment that, without belief in eternal life, the lives of atheists must be terribly boring and without meaning. I ask you to consider this:

With the thought of immortality, doesnt this remove all meaning from life?? Without the finality of death, what meaning is there to life?

I find far more meaning in my short existence upon this rock, than I would if I believed I were to live forever...

Please discuss. WITH RESPECT.

i became a christian when i was a teenager. and since then I've been married and had a wonderful family. My firstborn son died due to cancer 5 years ago when he was 12, and last year my wife went into labor with twins I went in with a wife pregnant with a boy and girl, i came out with my daughter (my son Noah and my wife went to join my son Adam in heaven). yet I still praise the Lord. He told me in His word that he would never give me anything I couldn't handle. so whenever something goes wrong, how come the rest of the world blames it all on God?

The blessings of our Father God come from obedience to his word. That was written by those led of his Holy Spirit and inspired to record his words.
The wrath was written by the same men, The Prophets of old. You can choose to believe or not the choice is yours.
Please only those who wish to answer the question with a pure heart are invited to respond. Those who want to bash please restrain and BE GONE !
I am not wanting to start fights just posting something for believers to think about.
