the current US government and ancient Rome? If so, tell me what you think they are, and what direction you believe we're headed.

Matt J- Correction. Rome gave us "catholicism"; a religion so bastardized in its make-up that after 1800 years and the Vatican instigated and planned Inquisition, they're still worshipping statues of "Mother Mary" (Semiramis). The Christian Jews were the Roman leadership's main targets. Nero, whole Christian families by the thousands thrown to the lion in the Circus Maximus; the light for Nero's Garden parties (orgies) so graciously provided by Christians tied to poles and covered with oil before being set ablaze. And to think that these Christians almost spoiled Nero's party by their quirky objections at being torched, ohhh, how gauche!!!

Matt J- YOU are amusing for me. Where in the hell do you think the catholics got the damn manuscripts from to build their ridiculous religion in the first place?? That's right: from the early Christians in Jerusalem. Get your facts straight, pal before you make yourself look anymore foolish than you already have.
