Friend, welcome to the club, Every child of God will be tested by satan, he will lie to us & tell us that we are not saved, & many times we will feel like God left us, But we are only being tested & Tried, I have always said, If satan is telling us we are not saved & we are Truely savd, then that is a good sign he don't have us, If satan had us, then why would he try to tell us we are not saved, Because if satan does have us, then we are not saved, So satan joob is to try to get every child of God to doubt their salvation, Many people thinks you have to go to an alter & pray, when in fact you can give your heart to God driving down the highway, or on the assembly line, or out in the woods, Because the True alter is in our hearts. Just to encourage you a little, I am probably one of the oldest Christian on this site as far as serving God, I am not saying I am the oldest, but one of the oldest as a Christian, I have been saved for over 37 yrs. now & even to this day satan tries to tell me I am not saved, Well I found out that satan is a liar.

Everyone has doubts, no matter what religion they're in. To expect such a big part of the human mind to just disappear is unrealistic and puts too much of a burden on you. Yes, it's perfectly normal. Pray for the strength to continue what you're doing, repent and offer restitution for the wrongs you commit, and do your best every day to be a better person than you were the day before. Think of it like getting into the college you want--there's all sorts of prep work that you have to do. But if you constantly worry that you won't get accepted, it's harder to write the essays, earn the SAT/ACT scores, or what have you. Your god is the one making the decision. Keep doing what you're supposed to do, and leave the decision in His hands, where it belongs. If we had to choose the final resting places of our own souls, most of us would be all too harsh.

Sure. I think that happens to everyone. You just need to remember that you've been promised that, if you put your faith in Christ, you are saved.
Someone told me about something years ago that helps me when I go through that. Suppose you were to die right now. You reach Heaven, and God is standing in your way. He asks why He should let you in - what do you say?
My answer to that has always been "Talk to your Son". If the only thing you're counting on to get to Heaven is Christ Himself, then you're in. If there's anything else in there (like "well, I've always tried to be a good person"), you need to root it out.

Not only is it normal, it is, in fact, natural and LOGICAL! I am quite frankly surprised that some chrisitan churches believe in an 'assurance' of salvation, when a proper and entire reading of scripture should reveal that it is not there!
I say "I am working on my own salvation with fear and trembling", Philippians 2:12. The link below is a good place to start.

To worry is never normal for a Christian. Pray God will give you a revelation of his salvation by grace to you. As long as you continue fighting the good fight of FAITH, and continue growing in the Lord, He will do the rest! He started the work of salvation in you, and He will surely finish it. You cannot finish it, only He can.

Our Heavenly Father doesn't expect us to be perfect. He didn't create us to be.
Your testimony here, of your love for Jesus, should answer your question. You are doing all our Father has asked.

It's satan's way of trying to break you down. Perhaps you can talk with a fellow Christian and get some support and prayer.
