if 19 Christians hijacked those airplanes on September 11th.

I still find it hard to believe how atheists can forget about 9/11/01 commited by demented Islamic radicals, but they still condemn Christians for the Crusades that happened nearly 1900 years ago.

There is something that makes unbelievers despise only Christianity. If you are smart enough, you will see that well over 60% of these posts are mostly condemning or slamming the Christian religion.

Hatred is the opposite of Love. And Jesus was about Love and Compassion. "Love your enemies," "Pray for those who will curse at you."

How could a person hate the words that Jesus spoke?

Allah spoke about his true believers killing in his name and they will be blessed with 72 virgins.

Why do unbelievers ignore these verses in the Qu'ran, but they are always keeping a critical eye on the Old Testament?

What's the deal with unbelievers? Why are you so disgusted with a religion that preaches love and kindness?

The Christian church does a lot of outreach, bringing food and medicine to needy people all over the world. They don't care if the people are black, white, Christian, atheist, or Muslim. They make it their business to help everyone unconditionally. My church can't afford a building so we have to meet in a movie theater every Sunday. We don't even have a real altar. But we still give our offerings to a childrens' home in Africa so the kids there can eat and grow up healthy. My question is, do Muslims do the same? Why don't I ever hear about Muslim missionaries bringing help & healing where it's needed? It seems that in Islam it's considered a sin against Allah to help anyone who isn't a Muslim. In fact, many Muslims have said this themselves - they will only offer help to someone in need if that person is a Muslim or wants to convert to Islam. I just want to know why? And if I'm wrong, where in the Quran does it say Muslims should offer help to anyone regardless of background?

Obviously I wouldn't expect you to post it verbatim and possibly get yourself reported. And please, please don't post the senders name.

This is part of the worst one I have received:
~when him and his father drops dead and when his mother lives in misery and disabled and unable to speak, but can still see and hear, but cannot move and gets fed through a straw!!! In JESUS Name I pray it amen

But meanwhile Muslims across the Middle East are planning to gain nuclear power so they can usher in the end of the world by fire and total destruction.

So my question remains.

Why do most unbelievers condemn Christians for wanting their beautiful messiah to restore peace on earth?...

but it's perfectly ok for muslims to want to blow up the world with as many nuclear bombs as they can handle?

I'm just wondering why Christianity is always discussed more than any other religion on the face of the earth.

Muslims are using their small children as suicide bombers in the middle east, but you unbelievers criticize Christians for coming to your front door to expose you to the savior of man?

You unbelievers don't make any logical sense.

God Bless!

I'm 24 years old and STILL have not read the bible. Honestly, I hate to read anything longer than a magazine article, so the thought of reading the entire Bible is really intimidating and overwhelming. Are there any websites out there that will send me a few bible verses a day until I've "read" the bible in its entirety? I have a few Study Bibles, but I just can't get into them. My husband bought me "a study guide to read the Bible in 1 year", but the thought of it taking a whole year discourages me.

Is there even one REAL scholar, whose field is Egyptian mythology, who says with any certainty that there is ANY similarity between Jesus and Horus? And if there is even ONE real scholar in Egyptian mythology who says so, do more than a very small contingent of scholars believe him or her?

For a couple bonus questions, why is it that every time a question is asked about Horus and Jesus, anyone who disagrees (using real sources) with there being any similarity, their answers are given multiple thumbs-down?

Why are the writings of real scholars dismissed, and some people choose to believe books like "Sixteen Dying and Rising Gods", "The Golden Bough" and "The Jesus Mysteries", and movies like Zeitgeist, which almost directly plagiarizes those books, instead?

any religion, any creed, anybody can answer... who or what is love to you?

Religion turns the focus towards the individual, admonishing his crimes to a god (see confession and prayer)

all an atheist has is their conscience to live with, it is harder to forgive yourself than just believe a mighty power has forgiven you.

Religious gatherings can be seen objectively as the tradition and social events that they are by atheists, and the bible as a fine collection of stories, historical comment and ancient fokelaw, and not the word of a god.

my GOD is =FRUG=F for foundation,R for reality,U for universes and G for GOD. He has no beginning nor end because NOTHING comes from nothing and something does not become nothing so my GOD is from ever to ever.GOD is life and life's action is love and love is an action.GOD is only good, there is no evil but our choices.GOD is only the energy of positive goodness nothing else.GOD"s ultimate self is the human entity and similar in the universe.GOD experiences life with this entity, only our soul and spirit shares this entity with GOD.We have the freedom of choice to do what GOD does(energy of positive goodness)to grow towards his entity or stop growing with the negative energy. The body changes but the soul and spirit grows in reincarnation or recycling like GOD.He does not allow anything GOD is only good, with our mistakes we learn to get closer to his entity. We are responsible to our era 2007 not GOD.I know GOD now and i work on doing like GOD,POSITIVE GOODNESS ENERGY FROM GOD.

Clever Noah did both:
- all God commanded: Grace: keep seed alive
- all the LORD commanded: Law: sacrifice(kill) it
Where did such Grace(Life) + Law(Death) get Noah?
It got him inducted in the hall of shame: Hebrews 11:
these all died and received not the promise. Ooops.

The day of the LORD is darkness and not light:
Amos 5:18 also asks: to what end is it to "you"?

This is a little difficult since there are so many kind of Creationism out there but...

How certain are you about two of your beliefs.

Are you more certain that life does not appear on this earth the way it does because of the process of Darwinian evolution, or are you more certain that the Bible is pretty much the one true book of God.

Compare the two concepts. Are you more certain of one than the other (if so, which) or are do they have about equal certainty in you mind?
