refuses to try to change. At what point do you tell a friend,'that's it', 'I've had it with you' 'sie a nora' 'hit the road, Jack, don't come back'?
Does forgiveness mean you must put up with unwanted behavior and pretend you're not bothered by it?

“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you, But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8).
He loves a heart that beats in the same rhythm as His and a spirit that values the same qualities that define Him. In other words, God wants us to do what’s right, to love kindness, and to model humility.

What are your thoughts? My source is Chuck Swindolls book, "A Life Well Lived."

I was just watching the History channel about comets, and the "star of bethlehem" came up...
according to scientist, the "star" would have been recorded in history, not a religion's "holy" book.

Why does religion twist religious fiction with scientific fact?

And NO, there were none of My usual sexual innuendos present; ONLY the simple QUESTION. Those of you who know Me already know that I JUST DON'T QUIT!!! I want to know EVERYTHING I can, because Knowledge IS Power, and I am not afraid to admit My few intellectual shortcomings if I encounter them.

...please explain this to me, because surely, as an atheist, you desire proof? So how can you ever believe in good and bad? How can you ever conclude that good and bad are anything more than mere opinion?

Bareing that in mind, how can you believe in any sort of morality whatsoever?

The Qur'an says to have no divisions within Islam. "The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the [sic] which we have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which we enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them..." (42:13).
Question: If Islam is the truth, which of the divisions within it is the "most" true?
Question: Is the muslim religion as a whole in error since there are divisions within its ranks?

I'd like to request that anyone asnswering the question please explain his or her answers. I'm not interested in whether you are pro-choice or pro-life. Rather, my goal is to look at the reasons you use to support your position. In other words, no 1-sentence answers please.

Here's what I want to know:

1. When do you believe that a zygote/embryo/fetus/baby can first be categorized as a HUMAN life? (conception? birth? when it could survive outside the womb?, etc.) At what point of fetal development would it no longer be acceptable to have an abortion?

2. Are there exceptions to when it would be okay to have an abortion? Would you allow an exception if the mother's life was in danger or if the pregnancy was the result of rape?

3. Did you or someone you know have or consdier having an abortion? Did this change your view on the subject? (This part may be uncomfortable for some people, so feel free not to answer this part of the question.)

4. Be sure to explain your answers

This is getting out of hand. Not only are the fundies and Christian trolls sending hate mail to atheists and other non-Christians, but to moderate/liberal Christians too. I seem to have missed the Bible verse where it says to flame all those who don't believe exactly what you do.
