for the same reason i don't believe in santa clause. the concept of an all loving god that threatens his creation with eternal damnation for refusing to get down on their knees and worshiping him is nothing more then an oxymoron to me. in this day and age we now can achieve almost everything through or explain most everything with science and no longer need to believe in fairy tales
