Have you read revelations? Doesn't seem like a good time for us. Shove your bible down your own throat and see if you can stomach the contents.

Apparently you don't realize that the Muslims are also waiting for Jesus to return. The Muslims believe that Jesus will return before the end of the world, just like the Christians do.
...and who is saying that its ok for anyone to blow up the world? I really haven't seen many people supporting that idea. The Qur'an definitely doesn't tell Muslims to nuke the world.
As for "unbelievers", apparently you don't realize that you are an unbeliever too. You obviously don't believe in Islam, and you probably don't believe in Hinduism or Taoism either. So, to large parts of the world, you definitely qualify as an "unbeliever".

Well, the question could have been put more kindly.
The fact of the matter is, atheists (and others) are more exposed to Christianity than any other religion, including Islam.
This is especially true in the U.S., where the majority of Americans profess to hold Christian beliefs.
But the fact of the matter is, unless a person has actually BEEN a Christian, they will NEVER understand it.
In the same way, unless a person has been an atheist, or another religion besides Christianity, they won't be able to understand the way others think.

Seems like you are trying to create an impression that isn't true.
9/11 was a primary reason that I am against religion, and that was carried out by Muslims.
All religion leads to violence when it is unchecked, including Christianity. The reason that Christianity is largely focused on by Atheists like myself is that there is an impression that it is harmless and loving. That impression is created by Christian leaders and bought by most Christian followers. It is dangerous because beliefs like this one can lead people to do harmful things in the name of love.
If a devout Christian was convinced that a leader heard from God and had a special connection to Him. They can be lead to do tremendously harmful things. It happens all the time. Look at all the families that have been torn apart by religious differences. Look at Bosnia and ask why Muslims there were slaughtered by Christians. These things do happen in the world of Christianity, no matter what Christians say.
We are trying to point out that the belief system that you follow isn't harmless. The fact that Islam can be used in the same way is obvious and doesn't need to be clarified.

Muslims are ENFORCING their "religion"...which is not faith, it is "works".
They claim to have the earth's fastest growing faith, but it is a lie.
In truth, Islam is just the earth's shame-less fastest growing ENFORCED "religion"!!!
"BElieve or BEheaded"!!! That's garbage.
God gave us minds to use, and an "inalieable right/freedom to choose the right" as we see it!
If they take their "boot off the neck" of people, we'll see few understand Islam, let alone found salvation in the opinions of a sinful self-proclaimed prophet.
Those who do try to study it, often have disappeared mysteriously.
The Roman Catholic church, in the "dark ages" before enlightenment, tried to keep the Word of God in Latin, so the people could not question them...like radical Islamics today!
Then they'll challenge us to debate their confusing tangle of man-made rules, unable to find (disallowed) theological debates on the subject.

Hi (I'm Christian)
I often wonder why when people are pointing fingers at the major religions and reminding us of the bloody skeletons in the closet, why they don't look at now, today, in
2007.
If it was the Christian desire, will, and/or mandate from our God to destroy and cause bloodshed, we would be continuing on such a path - but you don't see that.
Look around and take note of what religions actually DO want to continue bloodshed,
and I am sure you will not need three guesses.
Admitted: yep, we all have skeletons. Okay,
now what about today? Who is blowing crap up and killing innocent civilians?
Its certainly not Christians. In fact, I have
NEVER ONCE heard where any Christian
person told their own child that they would be rewarded by God if they blow themselves up along with other people including children. Have you ever heard of this happening within the Christian community?

here is the part that gets me
you believe that peace will only come with the return of Jesus
and I have always been known as a peacemaker on this site
yet I am not trusted amongst many Christians
because they believe that a human cannot bring peace
so any peace that is offered by man is not the right type of peace ?
I am also told that Satan will be the bringer of peace to decieve.... so on occasion have been accused of working with Satan
so even if the whole world wished for peace ... it would not be enough for some

Who said that it was ok to plot nuclear destruction or acts of terrorism?
As far as Christians are concerned, besides predicting that the end is near for the last 2000 years, many other them appear to be obsessed with death being both scary and the door to the next life -- so obsessed that they can't fathom that the rest of us just look at it as a part of life, albeit a sad one.

1. Stop with the insults by calling us nonbelievers. You invalidated everything you said with the first word in your post.
2. Its not a restoration honey, you want the earth to be destroyed so that you can live on it as Christians. Use your brains. Its morbid and its freaky.
3. You're looking forward to the end of the world and somehow I'm the one that isn't making logical sense? You seem to be lacking in brains this morning.

Have you even read the bible? Go look at revelations its not a happy book.
If you are so brainwashed as to think that the all things that happen in that book are a good thing because its just a bunch of unbelievers suffering then your mind is truly warped.
