Why would there be a need to react? Your ignorance would have no affect on me.

I think my reaction would be something along the lines of *"meh"-shrug*. I would consider if there were any validity in the accusation but if there is not then its just someone threatened by or who doesn't like the ideas or message resorting to ad hominem attack. Says more about the person who created the cartoon than the person being vilified in that situation. I think it is only upsetting if there is a grain of truth in the accusation. There is great irony in people reacting violently in protest to accusations that their beliefs are violent don't you think?

Its a cartoon. I'd be annoyed but I'm not as childish as some Christians are. How would you react if I created a cartoon that depicted Jesus as evil and violent?

I would be confused. Unlike Mohammed, neither Dawkins nor Darwin have a history of violence.

Well, maybe they had a couple of schoolyard scraps, but nothing serious like wiping out all the men of a Jewish tribe and raping the women afterwards.

I might wish to express my disagreement, depending on the specific comments and their accuracy. I might even laugh, even if I didn't agree.

However, I would not call for an unholy war, for your murder as the originator, the banning of such cartoons or the bombing of your country. In a free world, you have the freedom to be wrong, but not to murder.

I would make a cartoon with Jesus depicted as a homosexual and see how Christians would react

It would depend on whether or not the cartoon was funny. If it was I would laugh and then move on. If not, I think it would just be a poor cartoon. What's your point?

Personally, I wouldn't give a rat's a*s. They, on the other hand, might sue you for defamation of character. That's a privilege of humans, denied to our deities.

It would be sort of stupid and pointless.
These people are not "divine" to anyone in any way. They would most likely roll thier eyes at you and go about thier day.

Like I do when I read any other unoriginal cartoon... I wouldn't do anything...

(like that's never been done before)
