Well, it seems the ancient Greeks had it right when they observed that love is simply the law of attraction. Love is simply a force that causes things to be brought together. I've often looked at love from different peoples' perspectives and have found this one to be most accurate to me and the most refreshing, for what reason I believe I have yet to discover. So, when someone asks me "How do YOU describe Love?", I have to say that this description is the one I adhere to, and the best because of its simplicity. This description of Love allows us freedom.

I have observed other, more complex perspectives of Love, however, they all seem to have their roots in this simple, yet powerful principle that describes Love universally, that Love allows us to be together.

Love is something more then a feeling, it's an action toward others. Caring & helping others in all sorts of ways.

in this manner husbands ought to be loving their own wives, in that, just as the Christ offered up himself....i think i could defend my family with my life...

he that is faithful in what is least, will be faithful also in what is great....i am trying, but definitely not perfect...

i struggle with this command most of all:
if your enemy strikes you on the cheek, turn the other cheek, that he may strike it also....
i am too proud i guess, and i don't wish to be wronged. i have gotten into QUITE a number of heated arguments with co workers, and even bosses, and usually i end up wishing i had handled the situation in a Christlike manner, instead of losing my temper and just making a bad disagreement worse...

Love is long suffering, kind, not jealous, does not look for it's own interests, but rather it looks for the interests of others.....Love never fails....

i have a long way to go before i can be a good Christian.....

there is only one love, love is practiced in your surroundings of 20 foot square, love is = to give the needs to your close ones if they ask or not with the energy of positive goodness, just like you are receiving from your daily life such as air, food, shelter, water, and anything that follows the basics and the feeling you get from that is the result of that one and only love.Of course the one that is close to you benefits the most.To complete this love you have to receive it and appreciate it.

Hello!
The biblical description of love is a mental attitude .
When Christ was being judged for our sins and they were spitting on Him and insulting Him drawing lots for His clothes He said"father forgive them they don't know what they do!
He set the precedent for the church to follow.
Love is not a feeling it's an act of your will.
Take care!

Jesus is love, I know. The love Chapter, (1Corinthians 13). It says "charity" in the Holy King James Version. God is making us like Jesus, those that are called by His name. So if you read it put your name in the place of charity or love the second time of reading it, starting at the 4th vs., and then do it with the help of the Lord. That makes it personal!

Platonic (non-romantic) love is wishing the best for another person, and doing all that is within your power to make that come true.

Romantic love is tougher to explain, so I won't try.
