Why did he make it look that we evolved from apes? Why did he make us so fragile and susceptible to disease? One thing is absolutely clear - He has a sick sense of humour.

My brother encoutered this problem. The Christian Bible (from the Letter of Paul to the Phillipines) states that "Jesus cannot be crucified twice...does that mean that forgiveness is a "one shot" deal?
Baptists and Catholics would say differently...forgiveness is an ongoing process. But "hard-nosed" Christians would say washing yourself from sin is your complete forgiveness that is the only chance you get. What do you all think?

I like Paul. He shows us that even if we have totally turned our backs on God, we can still be used by Him.

There's WAY too many for me to list, but I'm sure others will provide them.

You worship the image of Jesus on the cross wearing nothing but a loin cloth. Yet you whine about shirtlessness in my avatar.

You criticize the Muslims for having certain religious beliefs, yet your religion has beliefs that are equally unacceptable.

You claim that people choose hell, but when I hold a gun to someone's head with a threat, they are not choosing my bullet.

You support freedom of religion when it comes to prayer in school, yet you deny the rights of those who wish to practice non-Christian religions.

You claim that murderers should be punished, yet deny the punishment for women who have abortions, something you claim to be murder.

You claim homosexuality is an abomination because of a verse in Leviticus, yet you ignore the other abominations from Leviticus: wearing polyester-cotton blend clothing, eating shrimp, etc.

In Revelation 16:13 we read, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet." **Please note that the beast, the false prophet, and the dragon, all had 3 unclean spirits.

In Revelation 12:9 the Bible says, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
The "dragon" is another name for satan.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11:14, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." **Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his greatest triumph would be to pose as the Lord but actually be Anti-Christ. In Revealtion 13:11 we read, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

And if he didn't?

What if he just created you, but offers you nothing, good or bad? What if he isn't judging you, or sending you to Hell or Heaven, but you just live your life here in Earth, and then you die, and that's it? Would you still worship him?

If your answer is no, then you're worshipping him because you want something from him, not because you love him.

You see, in high school,i had a verbal fight with one of my very close friends because he didnt keep his promise, so i ended up telling him we no longer needed to be friends. After that this Best freind of mine came to my Place. He told me "What you did was right but i am very sorry you didnt consider his circumstances in life like relationshipship and financial problems he is going through. You are in a better position so you should have forgiven. Although i give you 10/10 Law wise but i give you 0/10 in humanity"
Here is my BEST freind critisizing me and standing up for the guy i had fight with. I understood his point and made up with my other friend.
What my Best friend said has made me a better human being today. So i wonder, if our relationship with God is similar. He is true freind who is firm in Criticism but simply because we dont want to take ownership, we run away. Also should we blame God for what other humans do to us, Your comments please?

I once heard that it was a sin to commit wrong against people of one's own faith, but not wrong to do it to others outside one's religion. What do you think about this?

I would say that today it is 2 Corinthians 12:9. Some of my traditional favourites are John 3:30, Romans 8:31-39, and of course Isaiah 40:31.
