I just wanted to know what you thought on this subject. When a baby is born dead, do you think it had a spirit inside it's mother. And was that the babies chance at life?

I have posted a lot of questions. I never fail to get a lot of comments and saome answers. I get people telling me I am a Jesus freak. Some say I am an atheist. That gives me a clue that there are some people who do not know the difference. The fact is i do not know if there is a god or not and neither do you.

How do I stop feeling guilt and build trust with people again. Will it ever be the same? Or will people always have doubts about whether I'm being honest?

The logic follows, anyone can become a pope, so anyone can become the voice of GOD. Do people still belive this? this idea seems incredibly absurd to me.

We must keep Jesus in our heart and believe in god or we go to hell. The people who have never heard of Jesus get judged by some other factor after death or they have at that very moment to believe is what I've heard many people say. If this is true, why put the rest of us through all this? We must keep Jesus and god in our hearts and follow their word all our lives or we go to hell. Why do that when god could save everyone (himself included) a lot of trouble and simply judge all people by the same method he judges those who have never heard of Jesus or the Christian god?
If what I have heard others say is not true, please tell me what god does with the people who have never been introduced to Jesus, or the Christian god.

...or are there certain aspects of your belief system that you dont like to have challenged?

I just had an interesting conversation with someone who is part new age, part catholic, but when I asked a question challenging the validity of the Bible she made a facial expression that indicated to me that that question was taboo. I respected her and kindly ended the conversation.

This question is from my heart,I just would like to know. This is not a mean question, please know this.
In my Bible time today ,I was reading about the sin offerings. Christians go to God in Jesus name seeking forgiveness. We believe His blood covers our sins.
Please no mean answers, show respect .
Thank you.

This is only to the people who are guilty of these things (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!), but feel free to comment if you like. I'd really like to know why some people do these things.

Why on earth do you believe that your poor opinion about a certain faith or culture suddenly becomes an expert study, especially when you have little to know real knowledge of said religion/culture? Please, even if you don't like certain people (and you don't have to), do some research before you declare rediculous claims and claim that they are factual.

Why on earth do you insist to drive below the speed limit in the left lane? For crying out loud, if you don't want to speed or at least drive the speed limit, move over to the lane designated for slow drivers. There are even signs on highways now that state "Slow traffic keep right." It's for a reason ya know!

Years ago I was a regular church goer, but for whatever reason I stopped going. I never stopped praying or believing, I just did it where/when I wanted. I recently went to church and although I enjoyed the service, it is just not something I feel is necessary for me at this time. I pray each and every day, I deeply believe in God and know he is a higher power than we. My question to you is do you think it matters or is it wrong for me not to attend church on a regular basis? Does not attending make my prayers any less important? I hate walking around shouldering this quilt because I do not attend church and I am tired of defending my decision to my daughter and others. Do you have any advice for me?

I'm trying not to make this a political issue, but recently, an illegal immigrant was arrested in Los Angeles after claiming sanctuary for the past year in a Chicago church. She was arrested for coming into this country illegally.

What she was trying to do, was to spread the message that illegal immigrants had a right to be in this country.

So again, my question is this: Does the church have the right ot grant sanctuary for those guilty of crimes in the USA?

The woman's name is Elvira Arellano. Go here for the story: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chicago/chi-elvira_web.1aug20,0,5377709.story

Also, do you support the government in arresting her?

Plus, she has an 8 year old son, who is a legal citizen of the USA.

tithing is'nt mentioned in any of the Apostle Paul's letters to the christians, also tithing is'nt one of the reqiurements in Acts 15 in the Jerusalem council. I honestly believe that tithing is an Old testament practise, or even a Hebrew practise according to the law
(OT law).

Usually when I'm genuinly interested, I get accused of 'stirring up the pot", whatever that means. Oh well. I grew up in an atheist country, have never seen people pray for example. So, I honestly know only little about your God/Allah, etc.

Anyway, I was wondering: I'm in love. Hugely. That happens. It's up to the point where the rest of the world doesn't matter anymore. Some of you must have experienced that sort of love. The world doesn't matter anymore, you forget things, even the things that truly matter to you. People could tell me I did believe in God yesterday, for example, and I'd even believe them. I'd just think I had forgotten, because my mind is with her, 24/7.

Can a believer be so deeply in love that for a while he/she doesn't matter about his beliefs anymore? Forget God/god/gods for a while?

Al Salamo alaykom ........
i just wanted to know your experiences (and it would be especially from men) the moments you buried in dead people from your relatives or friends.......... How was it like??
What did you feel when you buried someone who was used to talk to you moments ago and share fun with you, but suddenly, you bury him in sand and and cover him with mud, in a hole of about a meter and a half or two ??
Has it changed your life after this or affected it in any way??

please, let us know about these sensitive moments...... for i know that such moments are to change the person to a pious one, or at least a person who contemplates......... after experiencing such difficult situations.

Non-Muslims are more than welcome to share their stories here.
please, from all of you, i need stories that especially made a change in your life after such incident.

thanks and peace.

So, what do you think came before the Big Bang? I simply can't imagine nothing, no God no universe no anything. Maybe there was never nothing, maybe there always was stuff but it's hard to imagine...please help me but please don't say God did it, that won't answer my question, I will just ask where did God come from and it is another unnecessary complication.
