So, what do you think came before the Big Bang? I simply can't imagine nothing, no God no universe no anything. Maybe there was never nothing, maybe there always was stuff but it's hard to imagine...please help me but please don't say God did it, that won't answer my question, I will just ask where did God come from and it is another unnecessary complication.

alleninthehills: God would still be something and had to be composed of something...how, why and when did he come about in the nothingness...it just creates more unaswerable questions without providing any enlightenment to say god was responsible..

You find it hard to believe that there is a god who created everything, but you accept the notation that there was nothing, then there was everything. I find the bewildering

No a vacuum is is only nothing defined by a region of something about it. It has been speculated that the big bang is a reoccurring event, but I'm not up on the current theories. Just because you can't imagine various concepts does not change their existence i.e. the vacuum that surrounds the known universes mass is still there regardless.

Definitely. It's also hard to imagine something always existing. It makes me a bit dizzy to really think about it.
