We must keep Jesus in our heart and believe in god or we go to hell. The people who have never heard of Jesus get judged by some other factor after death or they have at that very moment to believe is what I've heard many people say. If this is true, why put the rest of us through all this? We must keep Jesus and god in our hearts and follow their word all our lives or we go to hell. Why do that when god could save everyone (himself included) a lot of trouble and simply judge all people by the same method he judges those who have never heard of Jesus or the Christian god?
If what I have heard others say is not true, please tell me what god does with the people who have never been introduced to Jesus, or the Christian god.

I'm not a Christian, I'm just posting something that doesn't make sense about Christianity.

An Inuit hunter asked the local missionary priest:

"If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?"

"No," said the priest, "not if you did not know."

"Then why," asked the Inuit earnestly, "did you tell me?"

I know there are places where Jesus has never even been mentioned. I believe that those people are judged by their hearts. In words, the bible says that right and wrong is put in man the day they are born, regardless of what you are taught or what resources are availablt to you, you feel inside you when you are doing something wrong. As children, sneaking into the kitchen for that forbidden cookie.. we know better, but we do it anyway. Our hearts are not in the right place. Of course, we are children then and consequences are not so powerful. As adults we are responsible for what we do. It's karma in a sense. As far as people crying out to God at the last minute... I don't know how I feel about that. I don't know what God does in that moment. None of us do. He is the judge, not us. I know that He know's what He's doing even if I can't wrap my mind around it. Know what I mean?

I most likely can not give you the answer you will want, I will tell you this. God judges the heart, and the intent of the heart. How he judges the many who have not had a chance to accept Christs Payment for sin, I can not say, but I can say it will be just. But the point is you. You have heard the Gospel, you have been told, and deep in your heart, there is a longing, a void that you know needs to be filled, but you cant seem to find what fits. You might have tried, friends, a career, money, possessions, drugs, alcohol, lovers, the list is long, but it can only be filled by one thing. What happens to others is of no concern to you, only what happens to you.

First of all accepting the love of Christ and the Father is not the hardship you make it out to be. It is freedom not suppression. You are not required to memorize the bible or even carry it around.
There are only a hand full of rules to follow like love everyone, and yes that's hard.
Jews that followed God under that covenant (deal) are judged by their belief and obedience to God's law.
The other nations (people) will be judged by works. Were they nice or barbaric.
As man wasn't scoring too good that way God made it easy. He came and showed us a perfect life. He died to cover your sins all you have to do is believe His word and feel and confess guilt to Him to be accepted. As you are in the present age and have heard the word and know who He claims to be you are left with two choices. There is no in between. Think hard, pick well, pick right the battle is over, pick wrong and it's just beginning.

I guess other important questions would be: Who gave god the right to judge billions and trillions of people throughout history, and on what basis would we be judged? What if god decides to say that he judges a person worthy of hell just because he doesn't like that particular person's disposition, or what if he's just having a bad day? Also, what is it, exactly, that makes a person judgeable, and what makes a person a supposed sinner that needs to accept jesus in the first place? I guess I could go on & on with the questions as to why this is simply silly, but those are some of the main ones!

Thanx!

One of the thoughts that this is the end times is that the gospel has been spread to all the world. Truthfully most people in the world today have heard about Jesus. But that doesn't really answer your question.

First, the Bible says that God himself has revealed himself to the world. As an example, the Psalms say "the heavens themselves declare your glory!". Paul says in Romans that God has revealed himself in nature. That means that all have been revealed to God's glory.

Secondly, only God has the right to judge. Others may tell you that "this is what will happen" and they may quote scripture to prove their point. But if it was that simple, there would be no need to judge. God alone can and is able to judge. Whatever criterion he uses will be fair and just.

Finally for those who know, it should be a joy to hold Christ in our hearts. Let's assume for a minute that every good person gets into heaven. Would I be troubled because their standards were different then mine? I hope not, because my life has been richer because I know the blessings of God's love. I have felt his forgiveness and strength. That's all that matters to me.

Those who are judged without Jesus in their lives are doomed to hell. They will be judged by Ten Commandments. Break one, and you've essentially broken them all. James says, "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it." (James 2:10)

As for the way people are judged, Paul says this: "Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them." (Romans 2:14-15)

God "IS" the only judge. Man has imposed his judgment upon God's creation and justifies it in a religious belief. All religions differ because of the human influence factor. Want to know God's Will and "that" IS His Will. Seek and you will find. Don't get lost in the religious dogma and God Will speak His Truth to your heart. That "IS" God's abode.

It really does not matter what people think, there is a God and there is a judgment coming,God does not care what people want it to be ,it is the way it is.

I think it'd be fun if God set up an obstacle course to see if those guys got into heaven or not.
