A lot, but remembering if you take the word sorrows that Jesus said, it is referring to birth pains. Just like a woman getting ready to give birth, the end of the world is like that. Here's an example: Earthquakes from 33 AD till 2009 have risen dramatically. There were earthquakes back then, but it intesifies until now when there are earthquakes in abundant everywhere. Another example wars, and rumours of wars. Wars back then were small, only a few countries were formed, look at today, we have heard for a while the rumour of war with Iran, North Korea, and that is just our country. One final example, the love of many would wax cold. You know, 30 years ago people were more loving one toward another. They showed compassion one towards another. Look at today's age. People are too afraid to leave their houses because of hatred that people have in their hearts. The birth pangs seem to be getting more and more frequent. I am not writing this to convert you or anyone. Most people that don't believe in God have a reason. That reason is us. We, as christians, don't show love anymore. Christianity is nothing more then a cult just like Islam. We have christians chasing non-believers down wwanting to kill them. Christianity is mostly dead.

Yes, but hear the warning of Scripture....
3First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Pet 3)

you are partially right.
in Acts 2.16, when 120 disciples were filled "all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance" (acts 2:4), Peter referred to it as...
"this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh" (acts 2:16-17)
it was the outpouring of God's Spirit. this was to begin happening "in the last days".
the Day of Pentecost was the BEGINNING of the last days.
now, 2000 years later, we are in the END of the end days.
we know where we are on God's timeline b/c He has given us prophecy in His Word.
Jesus said ... "I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe." (jn.14.29)
in looking at world events we see that the final 7 years before the battle of armageddon & when Jesus comes back COULD start this year... why??
b/c Olmert (prime minister of Israel) & Abbas (leader of the Palestinians) are now working on final status agreements pertaining to their peace plan that they say will be done by this coming Nov.
this document addresses EVERYTHING that is needed for it to be the confirmation of the covenant ... which starts the final 7 years.
just a few days ago, Olmert said he would be willing to SHARE the Temple Mount ...
Rev. 11.1-2 says the Temple Mount will be shared by Jew & Gentile ...
"But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles"
all the other prophecies surrounding this time frame are happening NOW.
we don't have to wonder where we are on God's timeline ... He tells us in His Word.

well lets see, the anti-christ is suppose to rule for 7 1/2 years, if they are god years then....
8760 hours a year, not counting leap years...
65700 hours in 7.5 years...
65700-1973(years since Jesus died)=63727 years of the End Times assuming that the anti-Christ started the DAY Jesus left...

people have been babbling about the "end times" for over a millenia.
even Falwell was sure he'd be taken up in the rapture.
he was WRONG, like so many other xians who think they correctly interpret the buy-bull.
