I'm okay with Yoga. But at the Yoga and meditation center I've been going to for a year there's been a couple things that really made me feel uncomfortable as a Christian. One night the Yoga Instructor told us to Salute The Moon. It was this Yoga Posstion that looked simulare to bowing down. I felt like we were worshiping the moon and left. Then one day durring meditation a Buddhist came in with a Buddha statue and meditated. I felt like God was telling me to get out and not enter. I no longer feel comfortable at this Yoga center out of fear of Idolatry. Would you pray for me that I'll be able to obey God on this?

In Islam, the person must make themselves accpetable to God by performing a pilgrimage to Mecca, alms, praying 5 times a day, fasting, cleansing rituals before prayer etc.

In Christianity, God has made man acceptable to God when Jesus died on the cross. He washed us clean with his blood and there is nothing we can add to his finished work.

On the one hand(Islam) the responsibility for maintaining a right relationship with God rests on the individual, on the other hand(Christianity) the responsibility rests with God whom we simply have to trust for our salvation.

What do you think? Muslims, have I represented your religion correctly? Which do you think makes more sense?

Christians refer to the Church, as the body of Christ. Are there any other organizations, groups, clubs, syndicates etc that add up to more than the some of their parts?

Besides the obvious institution of marriage, that can produce life, are there any other 'living' groups you can think of?

Espirit de Corp, etc....?

If the human body is better without the foreskin (as routine infant circumcision implies), isn't that saying that the body that God provided us with is defective in some way? That God made a mistake when he included the foreskin?

We pray when we eat, we pray for blessings, we pray for good health.

Seems to be a bit odd that we don't pray about poop. Without it we would die. Instead we hide in private and do our thing. I've never heard anybody pray about the blessing of poop.

What do you think? Do churches chop out things like that because they only want to promote God in things that we aren't grossed out by?

Thanks.

Your options are as follows, and there are no other choices:
A. Heaven as described in Christianity.
B. Hades as described in Greek legends.
C. Valhalla as described in Norse legends.
D. Simply cease to exist.
If you feel so inclined, explanations would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Note: no reference to "mythology" was used, because it would have to be applied to all or none, and I'm not interested in any whining about "it isn't mythology!".

what exists doesnt have to prove its existence...think of yourself, do you have to prove you exist? NO! why? because you exist and that is proof alone and in itself...we can say it is an intrinsical evidence (an evidence that exists on itself).
So anything/whoever you have to look for an evidence of his/it existence doesnt exist.

Yes, they are one and the same according to the Holy Spirit we talk to. We were actually surprised at this revelation.

John the Baptist was the bridegroom at Cana. That is why Mary, the mother of Jesus was present and acted not like a guest but like a host. Mary and Elizabeth, the mother of John, were cousins. So John and Jesus were cousins too, and Mary was his aunt.

King Herod beheaded John but Jesus reattached John’s head to his body and brought it back to life (Luke 9:7-9; also Mark 6:14-29 and Matthew 14:1-12). Is that impossible to Jesus? He was able to bring Lazarus back to life who had been buried for four days (John 11:1-44).

Our brothers and sisters in Pakistan truly need our prayers and support:

Pakistan Christians told 'convert or die'

August 13, 2007
Christians in Peshawar, Pakistan, received anonymous letters threatening suicide attacks if they do not convert to Islam, assemblyman Pervez Masih said Friday in Pakistan's Parliament. He said the hand-written letter entitled "knock of death" called for jihad against non-Muslims and America.

Masih, reading the contents of the letter, said, "All of you are being invited to quit Christianity and become Muslim to save a place in the heaven. Otherwise, by the next Friday (August 10) your colony will be destroyed and you will be responsible for the loss of life and property. Be ready as it is not only a mere threat. Our suicide bombers will kill you. Consider it a final call," AsiaNews reported Monday.

I have noticed several Muslims have above quoted in other questions "Whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption done in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely" [Qur'an 5:32]

Interesting....Does this mean that IT IS OK for a Muslim to kill someone if you are doing it to "save their soul" or if you are stopping someone bringing "corruption" to others ie. converting them from Islam to another religion?

Is this how some Muslims justify that it is OK to kill Christians and non-Muslims because they bring corruption.

This is frightening!!!!

if you look to all other sections it will take ages for someone to ask a question, the R & S section is the busiest!
Why people are so much interested in religion and spirituality? is it because it is very mysterious and many questions still unanswered?
In your opinion what does this indicate? ummmm.....

Will the R & S section become empty after the abscence of (((Ramjet))) and Uncle Wayne? Shouldn't they return back to bring life back to this section?
