EASY one.

Independent Baptists actually believe the Bible.
Most denominational Baptists SAY they believe the Bible, they just don't know what it says or live like it.
Catholics don't believe the Bible at all, they just claim to get their authority by using small parts of it, and insert their traditions and Baal worship for the parts (majority) of the Bible that they don't like.

Catholics believe that the Pope is the voice of God. Baptists don't.

Catholics believe you have to go to a man and confess your sins often. Baptists don't

In order to be a priest in the Catholic religion you can never marry and you must be celibate. Baptists do not require celibacy to serve the church.

To non-catholics, it appears that Catholics worship Mary. Baptists don't.

If you wish to get married in the church a 2nd time after you have divorced, the Catholic church would have to nullify your marriage. In the Baptist church only the courts can nullify your marriage.

I could go on and on about the differences.

Here is the Baptist version: We accept the Bible as infallible, and do NOT RELY ON any other documents or church dogma.
This means we do not worship Mary, we do NOT call Peter the "First" Baptist, we use Birth Control, we DO NOT claim the Bible was written by Baptists, we DON'T HAVE a Pope, we DO NOT pay pennance, we do NOT pray to ANY other than Jesus, etc.

In His Service,
John the Baptist

The leader of the Catholics wears a fancy Toga and the leaders of the Baptists wear Italian Silk Suits and Gator leather Shoes.

"What separates us as believers in Christ is much less than what unites us." (Pope John XXIII)

Almost all important doctrine is completely agreed upon between Catholic Christians and other Christians.

Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):

By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.

There are many minor doctrine issues and some major cultural traditional differences which, I believe, do not matter that much.

A Catholic worships and follows Christ in the tradition of Catholicism which, among other things, recognizes that Christ made Peter the leader of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor.

With love in Christ.
