Yes, they are one and the same according to the Holy Spirit we talk to. We were actually surprised at this revelation.

John the Baptist was the bridegroom at Cana. That is why Mary, the mother of Jesus was present and acted not like a guest but like a host. Mary and Elizabeth, the mother of John, were cousins. So John and Jesus were cousins too, and Mary was his aunt.

King Herod beheaded John but Jesus reattached John’s head to his body and brought it back to life (Luke 9:7-9; also Mark 6:14-29 and Matthew 14:1-12). Is that impossible to Jesus? He was able to bring Lazarus back to life who had been buried for four days (John 11:1-44).

Luke 9:7-9 (The Holy Bible, King James Version) states:
7 "Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;
8 "And of some, that Elijah had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.
9 "And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him."
Herod admits that he had beheaded John the Baptist. He was perplexed because he was risen from the dead.

To whom did Jesus entrust His mother Mary when He was crucified? To His beloved disciple John, isn't it (John 19:26-27)?

You may believe it or not but this was one of the revelations of the Holy Spirit to us.

What is your opinion about the matter?

John the Baptist was killed long before John the Evangelist started his writing. There is no evidence that the unnamed bridegroom at Cana was John,Son of Zebbedeee, John the Baptist(there is no mention of a spouse of his and he calls himself the best man not the Bridegroom)or John of Patmos.

I agree with James O. There is no evidence to prove that John the Baptist, John the Evangelist and the bridegroom at Cana were the same person.

Scriptural gymnastics.

And done poorly.
You have to impose a lot of garbage on the text to even begin to make that work.

You are making Herod equal to Christ in his ability to raise the dead. How many gods do you serve?

I know of only One.

You poor deluded sock puppet of Satan.
In Matthew 14:11 John's head was given to Herod's sister-in-law and in vs 12 Johns disciples came and took away his body and buried it.

Try reading with your eyes open.

King Herod beheaded John yet Jesus reattached John’s head to his physique and further it back to existence (Luke 9:7-9; additionally Mark 6:14-29 and Matthew 14:a million-12). Is that impossible to Jesus? He replaced into able to convey Lazarus back to existence who have been buried for 4 days (John 11:a million-40 4). To whom did Jesus entrust His mom Mary whilst He replaced into crucified? To His liked disciple John, isn't it (John 19:26-27)?

Wow, it was revealed to me that Jesus was the bridegroom, as he sat at the head of the table and had to supply the wine.
The bridegroom ALWAYS sat at the head of the table and was responsible for supplying the wine, that is why they went to Jesus when the wine ran out and why Mary the mother of Jesus was hostess, the bride was Mary Magdalene.
