The Bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16]

---God had already decided what you will do each and everyday of your life and He's already officially recorded it down!

This verse clearly indicates that God not only knew our future, but He also predestined it! Christians classical argument for a God that knows our future is, "God knows our future but He didn't make our choice". This statement cannot be true because it is cleary written, "(God)scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe". Now this clearly contradicts with the concept of free-will doesn't it not? How would you christians explain this with a LOGICAL response?

The kind of answers I don't want:
---The bible has a few errors(this would invalidate it)
---God knows our future but He didn't make our choice
(I already explained why this can't be)

*keep in mind, "He already recorded!"

I was walking and jogging with my boyfriend 2nite...and as we prayed I was so filled with the bliss of Heaven...that my spirit was out of my body...I was about 20 feet to the right...watching my physical body and my BF walk and laugh and talk. This went on for about 10 minutes. What do you think this meant ?

If at all for one thing. But which subject category should it be in? Under mythology and folkglore? I understand it being taught as general knowledge but I hate seeing it be shoved on people/children as if you have to be religious. Whether or not you are planning on being an Athiest or an xtian (shorthand for christian) religion should be mentioned, not forced upon.

The reason I ask is because I personally can't take the Bible word for word and say that it was written by God and is the facts of life. I think Christianity is also about using your heart and conscious to decide on issues.

An example:

"If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
Leviticus 20:13

I am not gay, and if people don't think it's right then it is their choice, but how can you think that God wants you to go around killing homosexuals? It just doesn't make any sense.

And if you truly do believe that the Bible is God's unaltered word and the pure truths of life, then I guess you have a lot of people to kill.

Is that what you think God wants?

They knew nothing about the rest of world then. Take for instance the US, they didn't know this land existed. To them, thier world was flooded. So hence the reason the bible was written to say the whole world was flooded. Is it right to question this? Has anyone ever really thought of it this way?

Our DNA and the DNA of all other living organisms is in the form of a code or language, is it not? Do languages spontaneously develop, or do they always have intent and an idea to communicate from some source behind them?

To understand the entire question and its complexity, please see

http://cosmicfingerprints.com/ifyoucanreadthis.htm

This in not religious spam, it a scientific look at information systems theory as relates to pattern vs. design in language. It is a lot to read, so I broke it down in my question, but it is well worth reading for anyone interested in evolution, from any viewpoint.

Please, I'm not looking for dogmatic answers of any persuasion, but a thoughtful response to a challenging question.

Are you realy so week minded and pathetic that if you did have some abscure beliefe to define your exsistance or personality your life would be with out meening or or comonality? Why don't you understand that there are other religoius posibilities besides your own? There are houndreds of other alternative religions in the world. Can you truley be so arogent as to say that with an over 99% chance that your'e faith is wrongly justified, that your the less then 1% that is right? If that isn't bad enough you try to impose your "rules" via reilgius opresion based on "rules" made up from a beliefe that may or may not be right. It would be like me saying I belive chicken goes bad after two hours and making a rule that no one should eat chicken after an hour just cause I beleive to be so. If you consider your self religius then you have allready taken a BELIEF to far. Prove me wrong. I'm waiting.

I mean its not like anyone can just go over to the other side and then come back to tell us weither there is one or not. You can't prove he exists, but you can't prove he doesn't exist either.

"God created man. [...] men create God. That is the way it is in the world - men make gods and worship their creation. It would be fitting for the gods to worship men!"
