Or is it simply that they are too insecure within themselves to allow anyone other than themself to be God?

I think if they are hoenst they would admit to it being the second possibility.

How many of you creationists have actually formally learned about evolution. It does not say man descended from apes as that is what you all seem to say. You say the fossil record is incomplete, but do you really think that every single fossil is going to be found? Besides, DNA similarities make up for the holes in the fossil record. DNA similarities may not sound like a lot but if you had actually learned about DNA you would see how similar and how much evidence is derived from that. Finally, it is not based on the fact the humans and monkeys look alike. I have actually seen that a few times.

(and keep in mind that means there would be no athiests, agnostics, pagans, non-believers among you...)

Can you picture what your country would be like if EVERYONE believed in God, and actually obeyed him?!?!?!

"And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." (Revelation 5:6)

Dan Brown, author of "The Da Vinci Code" asserts in his novel that the Holy Grail is not the cup of Christ, but his living descendants. This is a theory that some Grail historians have believed long before Dan Brown ever started writing "The Da Vinci Code". I'm not sure I believe that...but I'm curious to know what you think.

I have. I lost my father about 4 1/2 years ago, I still talk to him from time to time and hope that he can look down and see the life I've created for myself and my daughter - he always worried about us because I'm a single mother.

Do you think they can look down on us, or at least on some level be aware of how we are and that we still love them?

To imply that GOD must come in a human form to feel or learn something is implying that GOD is incapable of knowing something without "experiancing" it.

The Lord of Abraham is not bound by these limitations.

Both reject and hate God and Jesus Christ......so they seem to have more in common than differences.

Impeach for Peace is based in Minneapolis, and this story is from May 2007 The offices of www.ImpeachforPeace.org learned this morning that Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) has cosigned House Resolution 333 as authored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) calling for impeachment hearings to commence against Vice President Richard B. Cheney.

The Minneapolis City Council was going to meet Friday morning to discuss and take up impeachment proceedings in the next few weeks.

And the bridge collapses, yeah right.

Republican Minnesota Gov. (and handpicked Dick Cheney sycophant) Tim Pawlenty declared the bridge collapse a structural failure and NOT an act of terrorism, when first arriving at the scene. A remarkable an amazing feat of deduction and forensic detection with no evidence to support it at all wouldn’t you say?

Ok, so yes... I am a conspiracist. I find it the only Biblical mindset when it comes to the world and events taking place in it. My theology abhors coincidence.

I recently attended an interfaith marriage ceremony between a Catholic bride and Jewish groom. The ceremony was performed by a deacon instead of a priest. Am I correct in thinking that a priest is only permitted to perform the wedding ceremony in a church? Is a deacon authorized to perform this ceremony? This wedding took place in a garden near a mansion, and not in a church. Thank you for your advice.

Was their decision to show the world and us, the people in it that we must stand up for our faith even if it means a certain and horrific death or did they decide to die for their own glory?

Ok...so I only have 1 more issue with the LDS church before I can agree that is the true church. I hear many people claiming Mormons become Gods after they die....

Can you give me scriptures from the BoM that support that? Or D&C for that fact.

we took prayer out of schools, we though about taking it out of the pledge of allegiance. Why are we doing this! it's called freedom of beliefs! i know school isn't a church but at least we can pray there. no one is allowed to tell you when you can and cannot pray.
