Impeach for Peace is based in Minneapolis, and this story is from May 2007 The offices of www.ImpeachforPeace.org learned this morning that Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) has cosigned House Resolution 333 as authored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) calling for impeachment hearings to commence against Vice President Richard B. Cheney.
The Minneapolis City Council was going to meet Friday morning to discuss and take up impeachment proceedings in the next few weeks.
And the bridge collapses, yeah right.
Republican Minnesota Gov. (and handpicked Dick Cheney sycophant) Tim Pawlenty declared the bridge collapse a structural failure and NOT an act of terrorism, when first arriving at the scene. A remarkable an amazing feat of deduction and forensic detection with no evidence to support it at all wouldn’t you say?
Ok, so yes... I am a conspiracist. I find it the only Biblical mindset when it comes to the world and events taking place in it. My theology abhors coincidence.

My theology abhors coincidence. My position... yes, there is a small probability that this was an unaided and unabated massive structural failure - in which case Pawlenty ought to be jailed as the government officer responsible for whomever should have been keeping folks off that bridge. He ought to be jailed right now for massive brain failure if this is not a conspiracy, because only an idiot would show up with a definitive declaration and finding without an investigation. But I digress.
Now, going back to the original point, the powers that be specifically stated that the bridge had PASSED all of its most recent State and Federal tests. So why is the Fed from the White House insisting that the bridge collapsed because of "deficiencies"? I think the bridge collapsed because of the Tsunami and Katrina, which caused the earth to vibrate... or maybe not. Maybe it was Dick Cheney, and maybe you just don't mess with that guy or he will shoot you in the face.

Here's a few more...
TWA 800 - every eyewitness and all the early news reports claim that a missile was seen shooting down the aircraft. Here comes the FBI with the same spokesman who was head of the Waco operation, within an hour or so, saying "there was no missile, this was NOT an act of terrorism"... before there had been any investigation at all!

OK City - Of course everyone watching the news got confirmed reports from everyone from the ATF, FBI and local police that bomb squads had removed more bombs from the building. Then the Oklahoma Governor (Keating if my memory serves) shows up and the whole story is flipped on its head. There were no other bombs. Keating himself finds the "missing" driveshaft (while taking a walk down a nearby alley) which happens to have the VIN number of the Ryder truck on it. That VIN number is used to identify the truck, and immediately identify McVeigh. Forget the fact that that manufacturer at that time did not put VIN numbers on the driveshaft of that truck - immaterial.

So I am definitely not saying that there was a conspiracy, or that this was an act of terrorism. I am saying that - coming only a week after another massive bridge failure - and considering the fact that the government itself is warning the people that a massive terrorist attack is imminent - and considering that Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff has declared that there will most certainly be a major attack this summer or fall (he has a "gut feeling"), it is massively irresponsible for Pawlenty to show up and declare terrorism off the table.

Greedy politics.
Federal and State funds being deferred to other "more high profile" purposes so politicians can gloat. Sort of like the "deficient" levies in New Orleans during Katrina.

If Dick Cheney has the power to demolish a bridge with civilians on it, why didnt he do the smart thing and demolish the headquarters of the radical left wing site?
If there are grounds for an impeachment, a bridge collapsing isnt going to prevent this. That is utterly ridiculous.

The fact that so many theories come about to explain it just shows the paranoia in our country. Did you know the collapse of the Narrows Bridge in WA state was due to Japanese farting in the wind? Engineers are fallible, Mother Nature rules.

Everything may be a conspiracy. Maybe we are being controlled like puppets, from outer space. But I can't do anything about it, so I don't worry. Even about the fact Bush was reading My Pet Goat when the bridge collapsed. And that Nostradamus predicted it all.
