I keep seeing butterflies and although they are common to my area, they are not something that I have ever seen so many of. I would like to know the spiritual or folklore behind seing butterflies. What is there meaning? I keep seeing them, particularly when I am in the car, and the following along side the car. Thanks, Dawn

From my experience those who are at ease in their spirituality are quick to laugh or to help others to laugh. Does it correspond to faith? Hope? Optimism? Love, pure and simple?

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that all of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God = Atheism.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago, or more, God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Isn't that love, Atheists?

Show me biblical Proof that there is marriage in heaven, and he loves you, not he's raping you for his kingdom then seperates you. Kinda like, use her now while you have the chance, for there is no sex in heaven and I need you to do it for my purpose....to procreate. Lots of christians do this....gotta get married before he comes back..kinda stuff.

I know Heaven is about worshiping God....and so is here..

is sex a sin?is that is why you can not be married in heaven?

acturaly I should not say God is raping you, you rape your selfs, and all walk like a animal. As far as I can tell in the good book God has never givin one person in his life time a mate. Not even Adam and eve...for he said who told you were naked. is this strange why????

Unless I am wrong about the scripture, can you find me one couple God joined together?

This is the Fox's secret from "The Little Prince" (in reference to my last Q).

Is this (semi) common ground for Christians, atheists, pagans, and people of all beliefs. The book is a work of philosophy, but the ideas are so loose that it can be read in favor of and agaisnt religion.

What is your favorite thing "invisible to the eyes"?

I am not including the situation where the fetus is severely deformed or even cases of rape/incest, but in cases where the fetus is healthy and the parents just simply do not want to go through with it for whatever reason (not the right time or whatever.) It is these kinds of reasons that make up the majority of abortions. They are not the life saving kind as we are made to believe, but by middle class people that do not want another child. Women with family incomes between $30,000 and $59,999 obtain 38.0% of all abortions and and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient. © Copyright 1998, The Alan Guttmacher Institute. (www.agi-usa.org)

Do these parents, that clearly do not want their child and know of the long waiting lists of people willing to adopt babies, have abortions to save face because it's a little easier on the pride than adoption?

I mean think about, you don't personally know these guys and Jesus didn't write a thing about himself. Why should an all knowing and powerful trust man to write his word since man was corrupt right from the start?

I finally figured out what happened with Susan J, and felt like being a smart alec. It is a terrible shame, and a crime what her "friend" did to her. I'm glad she's back, and glad the guilty party is being prosecuted. My real question is: What can cause a person to treat another so horribly? Don't bother to say "satan" or "the devil", because these are just terms for the darker aspects of the human animal. Is it a fundamental flaw in the personality of the guilty? Or is it the result of social conditioning? Feel free to let your thoughts roam on this one.

Because we can imagine a scenario where the Christian god appears...

You wake up one morning, turn on the news, and every channel is reporting on a being that has appeared on the White House lawn. This being has snapped his fingers and turned the sun off and on. It's transformed dogs into cats, & baked 30 minute brownies in 5 minutes. In other words, it's performed bona fide godlike miracles.

What will six billion humans possessing free will do?

The faithful will, of course, be infinitely more faithful. A few billion will convert to Christianity on the spot. A billion or so will fall to their knees and call on their own god to smite this god. Millions will ignore what happened, and millions more will reject the god explanation and call this being an alien, Satan, etc. A minority will demand scientific proof.

In other words, human "free will" will remain perfectly intact and functional.

The Christian god has NOTHING to lose, and EVERYTHING to gain by appearing, so WHY DOESN'T HE?

Do you ever think you dont deserve to be forgiving because of all your sinnin. How can you be totally saved by Jesus and how do you know? Does baptism really help you get closer with Jesus? My brother got baptised and after a while he got back into his really bad habits and now has a really bitchy *** wife. I dont get it I want to be saved and stop sinnin but its soo freaken hard. i want to be able to live how God commands but i always get burried in sin and sometimes I dont know if im doing something wrong or right. It is so hard to live in this world because you want to fit in you want to have cool stuff great house and if somebody gets on ur nerves you want to curse them out or send them to hell or something... You try not to do those things but they are all in your mind.. I don't know i feel like im not saved yet and i dont know if i ever will be cus i dont deserve it . i try to be a really nice person and be myself and acct like Jesus would go to church read the bible n pray..

Just because there's no credible evidence that there is a god, that doesn't mean the opposite has to be true. And just because religions' descriptions, definitions and accounts of god are laughable or moronic, doesn't mean there might not be something else, as yet unimagined, that should be called god.

I want my sex life to be more spiritual. The problem is I have no one to have sex with, so instead I want my 'self love' to be more spiritual. I've gotten pretty good at summoning the energy of my groin up to my heart chakra, but it's not that pleasurable. Are there any more techniques? Any websites?

Thanks.

Jesus Loves You!!

About me: I made a commitment to Christ at fourteen years of age. At that time I felt the call of God on my life and at seventeen I married my sweetheart, Tom Hanson.
We had a 2 months old daughter from me and Hanson, and two one year old sons from a previous encounter and one while travelling to Uganda from a guy whom I was able to convert to the Lord's way. When we married, Hanson was a very spiritual young man and he thought someday he would become a preacher and me would be a preachers wife. But God had some other plan. So, today
I myself operate the ministry with my girlfriend Cindy. Hanson and I got divorced--but we still co-operate
and have maintained a close friendship.

Fill in the blank.

I stole this is a line from the fantastic book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, "The Little Prince" (somebody just listed this as their favorite book). You may think it's a children's book, but it is just as much for adults.

Everyone should read it, it will take an hour of your time.
