it's a simple Hebrew prayer, said in the morning upon waking up.

modeh ani l'fanecha
melech chai v'kayam
shehechezarta, bi nishmati
bechemla
rabah emunatecha

Thank you for returning my soul to me,
Great Ruler of Life and all that lives,
it is marvelous that, with all You have to do
you have time to do this for me.

Your faith in me is truly great.

It turns it all around. God has faith in ME, that
I am awakened today to do some new work.

I don't know what it is yet, so I spend the day discovering
how I can help, reach out, feel with someone.

I don't know why but the idea that God takes time every morning to remanimate my spirit is very . . . inspiring.

thanks for a beautiful question

Well my answer is NOT going to fit in with the rest of these answers here at all I promise you that. But here is a short story of what is happening and then my deepest prayer will be at the end of my story.

My mom does not believe in throwing anything away at all. My parents have two acres here. (Some of the story is in my profile.) But any way because of the way that this place looks now, dad suffers from severe depression, and I guess mom does too. What I really want is to get this land cleaned back up like it once was so that dad can see it all clean and pretty again, so when he goes HOME, he will go HOME happy. He wants to go now, but I want him to see how pretty it is here before he leaves us to go HOME. Every time I get started doing it, something always happens and I get set back (I get sick).

So my deepest prayer will have to be that the Lord give me the strength to get this all done for my parents before he calls them HOME. I am not asking this for me but for my parents. To let me keep them with me until I get it done so they can at least enjoy their last days here on their land in peace and happiness.

My deepest prayer is, "God, help me to be strong, in times of hardships and suffering, strengthen me"

I do say it with faith. It's the prayer that keeps me moving on. It's the prayer that makes me want to live more here on earth.

My deepest prayer is when I am on my knees weeping before the Lord our God for sin. My sin, your sin, the sin of the United States and the sin of the whole world. Since sin grieves God, it grieves we his people as well. We have fallen far short, we have all sinned, we need a saviour, and praise God , we have one!
