Well, he didn't. The Jews that did not accept Jesus as the Messiah stayed Jews. Many others did not believe that he was the Messiah so they did not join Christianity. Some prophets over years started other religions, like Mohammad.
btw, Muslims believe that Jesus lived and died as told in the Bible, but do not believe he was the son of God, only a prophet. Many other God believing religions have that view and so different areas developed their own form of religion.
Also, btw, most all religions are closely related, more so then many think.

'HE' didn't. Only men or the so-called 'Churches' that are supposed to represent the words of 'God' did. Men are fallible and greed is their motto. In my opinion, that is why we have so much strife in the world today. People believe their religious leaders and do not think for themselves.
