Me, I use the word magic as similar to a "gift". What would you do with that 1magic? in this present world!!
ME!!! I would love to give sight to those who were born blind (never seen) to not experience the sky, night, snow, trees, rainbow, animals etc. What world are those people living in.
How fortunate we are. All answers appreciated.

IT IS STRANGE ISN'T IT....

Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church , but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying but... you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel or ZANE GREY book?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?

I've been reading the Bible.

From what I know, Christians believe in a state called “hypostatic union”, where Man and God exist together- completely separate from each other.

The teaching is that Jesus who is God, became Man and lived amongst us, whilst never ceasing to be God. Verses such as John 1 and Phillipians 2 are believed to show this.

So when Jesus died, God did not die, but the "man" part died; and when Jesus rose again He went to be with the Father.

According to Christians on His return, Jesus will be worshipped as God... because all will see Him as He really is.

But did Jesus Himself actually teach this?

Most Christian Theology states that Jesus was resurrected on the third day, and was then 'caught up' and ascended to Heaven where he joined 'The Father'- as in 'joined up with', But from what I have read, there is no use of the phrase "joined the Father'' in the Bible.

What it says is that Jesus is now "seated at the right hand of the Father."

A stranger approached you today, looked into your eyes and stated - "I am God's Son and I'm here for the harvest." What would you do? Would you wait for a miracle to happen, would you fall to your knees, would you leave all behind and follow Him, would you even believe this strange man, would you simply ignore and walk away. It is a known fact that both bats and cats have much sharper hearing than humans do. It is also a known fact that the Osprey (type of sea bird) has eyes that are approximately 60 times more powerful than human eyes.

If we are the products of an Intelligent Creator, then why would He give sharper hearing and better eyesite to such lower creatures than the creatures he allegedly created to worship him? Why not give humans bat-like hearing and hawk-like sight?

Or, since we are made "in the image of God", can we assume that God is an old blind man with bad hearing?

I feel that the original church is the right church. i mean its what jesus founded and not some pope. Yah i really like the pope especially john paul II, but it just doesnt seem to me like its right for me. does anyone else agree with me on this? or if you have any other comments *hopefuly none threatning* that would be great

How do you be nice and a good witness if this lady at work keeps bossing me around (I think because I'm the youngest there) And running all over me. I have to stand up for myself or it will get worse!!! Where's the balance. I don't want to be mean. She know's that I'm a christian too.

Other than "because that's the way it is" or "because that's what the Bible says" can you give me any reason why you have God the Father and God the Son, but not God the Mother or God the Daughter?

I'd like your opinion, outside of "that's the way it is". If YOU can think of some reason why. If you can't think of a GOOD reason, that's cool. I can't either. Please don't quote me scriptures. If you can't help it, please pass on answering this.

I've noticed that this person seems to be a unifying force with most christians, other religionists, athiests, and agnostics alike on the same side. So maybe we should thank this person for bringing cooperation among the different factions in R&S? LOL

For those of us that have come to know the Messiah Jesus personally, every day is a joy in hope with Jesus as our best friend, savior and Messiah.

Yet I know in the past when I wasnt even sure if there was a God, I had no hope, yet I saw others singing in joy amazing grace, and wondered if I could come to know Jesus personally too.

Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would be God, "Unto us a child is born a son is given, and he will be the mighty God, the wonderful counselor and the prince of peace."

what brings you inner peace and true hope?

A Jewish person by birth yet rejecting the Messiah, says there is no hell- Yet Daniel the Jewish prophet said there is
"Those that die, some will rise to everlasting life, and some to everlasting abhorance." Daniel 12:2

Jesus said more about hell than about heavens joy, and in Matthew 24:51 gave the result of rejecting his salvation "The will be weeping forever and gnashing teeth."

Where is you hope/joyful anticipation.

I dont understand why there are so many different religins and so many Gods.
