For those of us that have come to know the Messiah Jesus personally, every day is a joy in hope with Jesus as our best friend, savior and Messiah.

Yet I know in the past when I wasnt even sure if there was a God, I had no hope, yet I saw others singing in joy amazing grace, and wondered if I could come to know Jesus personally too.

Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would be God, "Unto us a child is born a son is given, and he will be the mighty God, the wonderful counselor and the prince of peace."

what brings you inner peace and true hope?

A Jewish person by birth yet rejecting the Messiah, says there is no hell- Yet Daniel the Jewish prophet said there is
"Those that die, some will rise to everlasting life, and some to everlasting abhorance." Daniel 12:2

Jesus said more about hell than about heavens joy, and in Matthew 24:51 gave the result of rejecting his salvation "The will be weeping forever and gnashing teeth."

Where is you hope/joyful anticipation.

Athiest friend-you can say you dont believe Jesus is God or in hell-but that doesnt make Jesus a liar-if I dont believe you exist-do you exist?

Jesus doesnt give up on anyone-I was a Jesus rejector, now he is my savior and best friend

"The one that rejects my words, shall be judged by them in the last day." John 12:48

WELL WHERE IS YOUR HOPE/Joyfull anticipation in life and in the afterlife?

I will be grafted onto the olive tree, a branch partaking of the root, which is G-d and Yashua.

Romans 11: 17-19

"17But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, 18do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you."

Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would be God, "Unto us a child is born a son is given, and he will be the mighty God, the wonderful counselor and the prince of peace."

Isaiah predicted no such thing. In fact, he predicted the very opposite. To predict that a man could be a god is blasphemy and against the very things that qualify a prophet!

A Jewish person by birth yet rejecting the Messiah, says there is no hell- Yet Daniel the Jewish prophet said there is
"Those that die, some will rise to everlasting life, and some to everlasting abhorance." Daniel 12:2

Where is Daniel found? In Writings, not in Prophets? Why is that? Ohhh yes. He had dreams not visions, and was not a prophet, and cannot predict things.

My anticipation is not for the afterlife, but rather for this life: that I may be able to keep G-d's covenant with my people to the fullest, and also to defend it from people like you sworn to destroy that which G-d has made.

Hey, I'm glad you're asking this question! I just read an article about NDE which I felt confirmed everything that I as a Christian believe about the afterlife. You probably know the basics: People who are near death often have the experience of leaving their body and looking down on it, then moving through a dark tunnel towards a light. Here are some extracts from the article:

'There is a sensation of weightlessness; mental processes are very clear and the senses of sight and hearing extremely acute. Hearing seems to be telepathic.'

'Not only life experiences, but also the effects of thoughts, feelings and actions on others are now felt as if they were on the receiving end...'

'The final and deepest stage is entering the light, into a transcendental environment of unsurpassing beauty. There is a feeling of love, joy, beauty, and peace...'

'A small number of negative NDE's have also been recorded.' The stages are : 'fear and a feeling of panic; out of body experience with an urge to return to the body; entering a black void; sensing an evil force which tries to drag you down; entering a hell-like environment.'

Professor Kenneth Ring of the Connecticut University is mentioned as a researcher on this subject. The article is from a Guardian, 19 December 1985. And here is a website about NDE:

To answer your last question: I have no doubt at all that Jesus Christ made it possible for us to have the positive experience after death, and that he has redeemed us from every possibility of having the negative one. My joyful anticipation is to be fully reunited with the God I love with all my heart, as well as with deceased loved ones.

There is no afterlife. Moreover, I am quite happy with the fact that once I die my body will slowly decompose in the ground and become food for the million's of worm's that inhabit the soil.

Ask a terminally ill person. Regardless of your faith, including blind faith, death and the here after are abstracts. Generally because we don't know when we will die. Ask a person that is in touch with their mortality. You will get some amazing answers.

What brings me inner peace and true hope is my belief in
G-d and my Judaism. Sorry, I have no need of Jesus to get to the world to come.

Where is your proof of anyone named Jesus. I can guarantee you no one with the name Jesus existed then.

Afterlife? We die and that's it.

I think that God is going to take good care of people. Those before me who I love went through whatever there was to come, and so can I. If there is anything old to be forgotten, or anything new to be learned, somehow, everything will all be okay.

oh man....I just can't wait to hear Jesus called me "Daughter" and tell me He loves me. I think I will spend the first thousand years just being so happy to know I finally can be with my Father.
