A stranger approached you today, looked into your eyes and stated - "I am God's Son and I'm here for the harvest." What would you do? Would you wait for a miracle to happen, would you fall to your knees, would you leave all behind and follow Him, would you even believe this strange man, would you simply ignore and walk away. What would a Christian do if ever in this situation? How would you know what to do?

LadyPhoenix39: Irrelevant? If my question is so irrelevant, then why did you take the time to answer! I'm sure you believe that when He comes back to this earth, you yourself will literally view Him on a white cloud with all the trumpets sounding and dead bodies rising. And yes...many will still deny Him when He returns.
Nothing is irrelevant if there is some importance to it. My question is important to me, I want to read all the diverse answers including yours regardless if I so happen to strongly disagree.

When he comes, the world will know its him. For more info, read through Revelations. Its very encoded and many religious people agree that it can't be interpreted literally, but it does lay out a general idea of what will happen.

and god loved the world so much that he sacrificed his only begotten son..... that is where people start believing in the fairy tale of Jesus sacrificed for the sins of humanity.... well it's sounds good till you know the whole story.... Earth year 0... a new religion is being introduced to the planet.... it's origins... the Roman Empire... what do we know about the roman empire, that it was a violent civilization obsessed with conquering the known world.... through this empire was delivered to humanity the bible, the Roman Catholic religion, roman laws and governments.... in those days the roman emperor would refer to himself as a god.... and the conquest of the earth began.... anything or anyone denying this god-ship or this religion was put to death..... many civilizations murdered and or taken over. Humanity grew up since then, weakening the power of this god to conquer and win through violence and war but did not see through religion this spiritual battle that still exists today. Before the bible, the catholic religion and christianity life was quite different... there were people called shaman, healers, philosophers, medicine men and women.... sometimes called witches and heretics.... In the natural world they seemed to have magical powers.... every culture had their own.... what happened to these people? all but wiped out by the conquering religion, and the natural cultures that evolved with them gone as well..... Jesus not a son of this emperor self proclaimed god (the pope is his new title) but a shaman living in our day whom in the spirit this church expects to die through the will of christians by creating an expectation for the karmic justice he seeks to avoid.... How many people burned at the stake, how many civilizations and cultures destroyed by the combined forces of Catholicism and Christianity? What is the Karmic debt? I ask you..... If you understood that this man is meant to be put to death today to pay for the destructive debt of these religions, would you still expect him to die for you? For he is today a strong shaman one of many battling the forces of christianity on behalf of nature....

I just hope nobody ever names an Asteroid Jesus that's headed for Gaia. The whole world would know for sure when he tried to rape her.
On your details. The downtown areas of any large city will contain at least 5 or 6 bearded males that make the statements you wrote.

I think the answer would be yes.
Here is why I say that.
When Elizabeth was pregnant with John (the Baptizer) Mary was pregnant with Jesus. When Mary went to visit Elizabeth, the scriptures tell us that John, still in the womb, leaped for joy when Mary walked into the room carrying Jesus in her womb.
As to a man walking up to me on the street and identifying himself as God's Son I would know that it was not Jesus. When He comes again He will be standing on the clouds and His angels will be dispatched to gather us and take us up to Him. He will not be on the street. That would happen seven years after He comes on a cloud.

That wouldn't be him.
Jesus won't come down to each individual house and take each individual Christian. When the rapture comes, all of the Christians will be taken up and off of this earth.

The Harvest? I'd tell him to go to Market Basket. Then I'd get back to doing whatever it was I was doing. I don't care if his head was glowing and he was hovering 10 feet in the air.
