This will probably sound crazy to you, but I am a Christian, and I think it is the true faith, buy what it teaches. If there is a god, then he made everyone. He is awesome and needs nothing from men. If he made man he gave us a wonderful place to live, So many nice things, sunsets, ocean waves, flowers, butterflies, see what I mean, we do not need them he gave them to us for our enjoyment. Only Christianity teaches that God loves us all, that we can all be adopted into Gods family. That we are to love, and care for the widows, the orphans the needy, and that we are too put no one before God, and ourselves above no one. And yes that we will be judged for what we do, or do not do. No other religions have these simple facts.

sure.
The way that I cam to my religious beliefs, was by life experience, coupled with a pretty good level of research.
I think that the best way to start at getting to the bottom of the beliefs of the many religions is to procure and read a book title "Religions in America" by Leo Rosten.
In his book, you will find that he had collected data by asking a series of questions to representatives of their respective faiths. The answers are therefore not hearsay, but rather, an honest account of the various religions covered in his book.
Included are many statistics associated with these religions.

Then, by reason of reviewing differing faiths, one should compare the doctrines of the religions to the religious books they claim as their 'holy book'(s). This will reveal that many religions, have overstepped the words of their own source.

By comparisons and looking at the evidence, one will develop the ability to start weeding out the religions that are not true to their 'mission statement'.

When I did this, it led me to a belief that the Bible is a reliable book by means of the fact that the writers, were quite candid about their own shortcomings.

Once you begin to get closer to what makes the most sense reasonably and logically, you focus closer on the Bible, utilizing the many cross references available, and even researching the original writers language, and word definitions, that can become obscured by transliteration and poor English word equivalent choices.

If a person is willing to honestly do the legwork of a thorough search, then what you find, will become something your own, that can never be taken away.

I will not say which religion is the truth to me. But I will say, that if you, or anyone desires to know the truth, and acts in harmony with that desire by doing their homework, you will most likely find it.

Happy hunting!

I believe in God. I think you should try to be the best person you can be. I think you should try to improve everyday. I think your faith should be private. I think you should read as many Holy books as you can find, because they are all full of really insightful knowledge and stories of people that did a better job on this rock than I am. They are inspiring. > in 100 words.

There is a Father in Heaven that we all long for. We all feel orphaned, whether we have had good earthly parents or not. But somehow we don't feel connected to that Father. He seems unreal, distant, or maybe dead. But someone came to give us the ability to find Him, to know Him. That person was Jesus Christ. Why should you share my "beliefs," because you are a child, like me, who wants to know his true Father. I'm just in the family, urging you to come Home. That's all.

Why should you share my religious beliefs? Well, if they interest you, they make sense to you, and they offer you understanding of the world and your place in it, then you might find that it's a spiritually fulfilling path.

If they don't do that, then there's no reason for you to share them.

Read Conversations with God by Neale Walsch.

Those are the clearest books in the WHOLE WORLD on that subject.

If you have read them already, reread them very carefully.

I guarantee that you will find the answers you seek.

OK...First, I do not want you to share MY beliefs. I want you to have your own. Faith is very personal, and though I can tell you how my faith has helped me, you must have your own reasons to believe.

I believe because it the way I survive. Life is never hopeless...there is always a Light at the end of the tunnel.

I will do it with fewer words, found the the Holy Bible John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believieth on Him should not perish, but should have ever lasting life.....V17 For God came not in to the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved.

I do not believe in Christ only to get ever lasting life, but because a daily walk with Him makes life worthwhile.
