When a bride walks towards the minister and her future husband, is she walking up the aisle or down the aisle?
I thought you walk UP the aisle towards the minister, and DOWN the aisle after he pronounces you both husband and wife.

Am I wrong?

Christians take the 1st day of the week as sabbath(sunday).

God explicitly states it's saturday.
Only 7 day adventists and JW confirm this day, So satan really struggles to poisen it.
What is your opinion about Sabbath(which day do u think is right and why)

Why in the world would ANYONE want to eliminate ANY denomination of churches?

What do you think would happen if a denomination or church is eliminated? I mean, ifi ONE can be eliminated, then they can ALL be eliminated.

Many church goers will only talk to their pastor and not other believers when they have a problem. They'll clean the house all nice when he's coming over for dinner. They put him up on a pedistal. Does this amont to idolatry? Can it be so?

Most of us truly developed a love for music of some kind during our adolescence, and it might even be fair to say that the music we embraced at that time helped to shape who we were then, and perhaps even to this day.

What music 'spoke to you' during your growing up? Was it a particular artist, or maybe one significant album? What was it about that music that resonated with you?

Also, are you still a fan?

76.5% of the U.S. population is Christian.
http://www.adherents.com/adh_dem.html

Every election is decided by Christians due to their overwhelming numbers.

Every high level political office is held by Christians.

The laws of our land are written and enforced by Christians.

These are all undeniable facts about life in the United States. Yet I'm always hearing Christians talk as if they are some oppressed minority. They say things like "Jesus told us we would be hated by the world."

Well, guess what Christians? Here in the U.S., YOU are the world.

Ok... I recently drove by this large tent where an evangelist was getting people to 'speak in tounges'. Are people really this crazy? I just sat there shaking my head while they did it. I got out of my truck and started to walk by on the sidewalk to get a closer view but as i walked by they all stopped and looked at me and stopped speaking in tounges. This to me means one of a few things. There is good and evil divinity and i had good on my side so they were freaked out by me (there was many people on the street but they were looking right at me, about 80 or more people). They weren't looking at me with happy faces either. Maybe god wants his followers to speak demonicly and i'm actually the anti christ so they were frightened by me? Other than that i'm just not sure. I guess they could be all just completely insane and were offended that i was watching them. Who knows! What's the deal with these people anyways? Wonder if they realize they're scaring children.

From Isaiah
We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.

These verses seem to say otherwise

From 3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

and from Mathew

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto me.

I'm looking more for an honest answer from a creationist but feel free to chip in regardless of your beliefs or opinions~

We have 23 pairs of chromosomes while apes have 24. The visible reason we have 23 is because in our ancestry, 2 pairs of chromosomes of an ancestral ape mutated and became fused together to create a single pair of chromosomes that we see in our DNA.

Now you might think, this is purely speculation because the two pairs of chromosomes looks slightly similar. You'd be wrong.

Chromosomes have caps on each end called telomeres that are used to prevent data loss and also function as 'countdown timers' for a cell's lifespan.

Now, in our apparently fused pair of chromosomes, if you check at the point where the first non-fused chromosome ends in apes, you find two sets of telomere caps - one ending the current chromosome and one beginning the next. This is undeniable proof that the chromosome was originally two parts.

I have been married for 6 years and we have a child together. My husband went to Iraq last August, everything was going well. He kept telling me that he loved me and missed me and couldn't wait to get home, I too did the same.. and, out of no-where in the middle of June he tells me that he has been very unhappy for years, that the love for me has been dying and that he thinks it is best that we separate/divorce. I love this man...I have been praying daily for God to enter his heart so we can work things out. Maybe I am not praying right. Can you please help?

to be honest the more and more I'm reading the more and more I think the bible is nothing more than a book written by power hungry people as a way to control other people.

I don't say this to upset anyone, at the end of the day this is my opinion, nothing more nothing less.

As I understand it, we are supposed to have faith in god?
but the same book states that we are not allowed to look for proof of that god. It kinda seems to me that your not allowed to try and prove the existance of your god?

In the gospel its stated that many disciples cannot accept the fact that Jesus is giving his body and blood to his disciple and left. Sadly our separate brethren cannot accept this fact (among many doctrines) and they too break from the mother church.

To benefit the most of the Eurcharist, one has to receive the eucharist (in the form of wafer) with a grateful heart. Like the manna given to the Isralites during Moses' time, the Eurcharist is the supreme (spiritutal) food given by Christ himself to nourish our soul so that we may (cooperate with his grace) to combat the temptations and reach the soul of heaven safely. But confessions are necessary to make the most beneficial of receiving the Eurcharist.

It is not just a piece of bread where Catholics queue and receive each sunday mass.
