Only once- George Harrison, my freshman year of college.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot about Johnny Cash! I think that was my junior year.

Tears formed in my eyes when Secretariat died. I loved horses as a child, and it was like a part of my childhood faded when I heard of the horse´s death.
I was saddened by Diana´s death, because I truly believe the Royal Monarchy had something to do with her demise.

Oh, there are many. The first one I remember crying at was Freddie Mercury. Since then, I've cried over Kurt Cobain, Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon), Layne Staley, Princess Diana (if she counts as a celebrity), Anna Nicole Smith...
Actually, just about every time I read or hear about someone dying, it makes me cry. I just ache for their families!

No tears, but I was really sad when Elvis Presley, John Lennon, George Harrison, Princess Diana, and John Candy died.

Steve Irwin's death tore me apart, as did, oddly enough, the death of Dean Martin's son in a plane crash. I'm old enough to remember Dean's TV show, and when his son was born, so I suppose there's a connection.

Yes a few times. The first time was when Elvis died. I was 12 and he was/is my favorite singer. I also cried when Bob Hope and Ronald Reagan passed away. There's been a few others. Mostly people who really made me feel good and I grew up watching.
God Bless.

Yep, George Harrisson. He was my favorite Beatle. When he he died my sister came into my room that morning to tell me. I was fine about it until I turned on my radio and the song "something" was playing. I burst into tears!

I don't know if he qualifies as a celebrity, but I got a little choked up when Dr. Seuss died. I loved his books as a child, right along with millions of other kids.
