The chosen people of God. So do Jews go to heaven even if they reject the idea of Jesus as a Savior? Are they the exception? I just don't understand how it works- it's a genuine question, so I am looking for genuine answers.

The natural Jews are God's chosen people as descendants of Abraham. This does not necessary mean that they are saved. After Jesus' death on the cross nobody, either Jew or Gentile, can be saved and go to heaven except by confession of faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

To give a short answer here,
Yes, according to the Bible the only way to heaven is through Israel's Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). >> John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 43:11

And yes, according to the Bible the Jews/Israel is the chosen people of God. God made the covenants with THEM, which we as Gentiles have the opportunity to be part of! Salvation is for the Jew in first hand, but also for the Gentile. If salvation would have been reached only by observing the law (which none of us is able to observe fully) then no Saviour/Messiah would have to come. So, the Jew is saved by Yeshua the Messiah, and so is the Gentile. >> Rom 3:22.31, Rom 11:25-28

Isaiah 49:14-16
But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me,
the Lord has forgotten me."
"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.

Romans 11:23
As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.

God still has plans for Israel.

I would love to give you a longer answer, because it's impossible here to explain what the Bible says about all this, in just a few lines. So if you want to hear more, you're welcome to send me an email.

At the same time I'd like to remind us all who call ourselves Christians not to blindly believe everything we hear that sounds good, without checking that it fully agrees with the Bible (Old and New Testament). Psalm 119:160 THE SUM of your word is TRUTH, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. 1+2 is 3. But if you just look on number 1, and ignore number 2, the sum is 1 when it in reality was 3. Do we want the WHOLE TRUTH even though it might sting and hurt a bit first, but in the end be good for us and a rich blessing, or do we want to make ourselves a "truth" that is convenient and suits US. If we choose the first option we'll win, but the second option will bring us to defeat and loss. Proverbs 10:17 People who accept correction are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore it will lead others astray. Proverbs 4:13
Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that all God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Jehovah God rejected the Jews (as a nation) after they rejected and executed Jesus.

Those 3 keys to the Kingdom that Jesus entrusted to Peter - yeah, #1 made it possible for Jews to get into heaven, #2 made it possible for Samarians (I'm pretty sure, gotta check again), and #3 made it possible for all Gentiles, whether circumsized or not.

You have to keep in mind that God forgave the nation of Israel a bunch of times (just look in the O.T.). Every time they were overrun by another nation was a sign of God's disfavor. Well, considering that they were overtaken by the Romans and the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed, never to be rebuilt, it seems pretty obvious that they elected NOT to be His chosen people anymore.

There are thousands and thousands and thousands of Jewish people who believe that Jesus is the Messiah. They are called Messianic Jews and there are plenty, plenty, plenty of them in the US AND in Israel. Likewise, there are Jews that don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah. They, like everyone else, reject the idea that the law won't work. What most people dont' understand is that the law was never given to show you what you could accomplish, it was given to show you what you could NEVER accomplish, thereby needing an ombudsman, so to speak, who COULD accomplish it, and that's what Jesus did.

Jesus says the ONLY way to enter heaven is through Him. You don't have to be perfect, you don't have to do a bunch of 'good deeds' and work your way into heaven, all you have to do is BELIEVE that Jesus is who He says He is: The Saviour who LIVED a perfect life, without sin, who died on the cross to pay for your sin so you wouldn't have to, and rose again on the third day. Sounds simple? It is. God doesn't expect us to be perfect. He even says, "They are but human." Isn't it neat that God has paid the price so we could go to heaven?

There are as many answers to your question as there are people in the world. It depends on your interpretation of a book that was compiled by men centuries ago and no one can say for sure because if they knew absolutely they'd be there and not here. I believe when we get the opportunity to find out, that heaven, if there is such a place, will be full of the good regardless of their "religion" and hell, if there is such a place, will be full of the evil. I think God talks to all of us in the voices he thinks we will understand best and that's why there are such wide disparities between even those who profess belief in Christ. Do your best in life - that's all you can do - believe what you can accept and don't worry about people who believe in absolutes - because they don't know any more than you or I. Christian, Jew, Hindu, Muslim, Wiccan or Druid, we will all find out the answer whether we want to or not one day...

The Jews ARE His chosen. But while they don't believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, they are still God's favored. They will play a key roll in the end times prophesy. I believe that they supress their belief in the risen Christ so that they will remain here after the rapture, come to believe in Him, and profess Christ as the Messiah during the tribulation period, saving perhaps millions of lives.

No, because of the fact in case you worship Jesus (spelled with the two a J or a Y), you switched G-ds. Your god is a human sacrifice. Idolatry is a deal breaker in Judaism. an identical area in Deuteronomy that asserts do not worship statues or animals says do not worship human beings - lifeless or alive. Christianity is subsequently a separate faith. So the version is that Christians do renowned a non-Kosher messiah, not that we don't. component of correction: there is not any "old" testomony in Judiasm. there is Holy Scripture, the Torah, Prophets and Writings (Tanach). Christians have re-written and further to those Scriptures to slot their purposes, noted because it old and further a clean ex-cement with assorted slurs aimed in direction of Jews. Their New Addition negates Torah. this could be a stable occasion of ways "greater" isn't everywhere close to better.

Jews were the chosen people but since they rejected Jesus the gospel was taken to the Gentiles. No Jesus, No Salvation.

I would like to offer a Jewish perspective. First, the word "chosen" is often sadly misunderstood. We are "chosen" because we chose to receive the Torah. That does not make us better than anyone else. It is not so much that God chose the Jews; it is more accurate that the Jews (through Abraham's decision to believe in G-d) chose G-d.

Having said this, we have our own path to the world to come; therefore, from our perspective your question is not relevant.

Indeed, "eternal salvation" and peace with God are notably "through Jesus-->Christ", which ends with "Christ": "is the end of the law": Romans 10:4. Furthermore it is notably through Jesus-->Christ-->God-ward; For God is not a man that he should lie(law); And the head of every man is Christ(the end of the law); And the head of Christ is God(Grace).

Which things are an "allegory" and a "mystery" to solve in time, lest all perish by law instead of none perish by grace.

As for (plural) Jews, or (plural) Hebrews, well Hebrews 11 is a hall of shame (not fame) for such like: "these all died" and "received not the promise"... God having provided some "better" thing for "us" than blind faith in law, which results in saved + destroyed after for them all: Jude 5.

The gospel of grace and peace is firstly to the Jews; For such well said at Mt Sinai: the law (condemnation, sin, and death) should not be spoken to them again; And the law was only given to the Jews, not to the Gentiles. Not to mention Jesus is only the Saviour of Israel (of Jacob-->Israel); But Christ is the Saviour of the world. Hence the salvation offered by Jesus(made under the law) is only temporal, whereas the salvation offered by Christ(the end of the law) is eternal. Yet Christ is notably only the "author" of eternal salvation in Hebrews 5. We, the body of Christ, are the finishers of it. For if the head of the body authors go to the store, it doesn't get to the store till the body takes it there. Selah.

The GRACE(GOD) of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you all. Amen.
