the first story:
Jesus knew that they are coming for him to kill him, so God pulled him out to heaven and saved him, and God made the one who betrayed Jesus and told about his location to be look like Jesus, so they though it was him and killed him.

the 2nd story:
Jesus knew of the coming of those who want to kill him, so he asked his followers who wants to take my place and he will be with me in paradise. so the youngest guy volunteered to take his place, Jesus found him young so he repeated his question again to his followers, the young guy has volunteered again. then Jesus repeat the Question and the young guy still want to give himself to help Jesus. so he took the form of Jesus and took the crucified instead. and that's probably whoever said "my God! my God! why haven't you forsaken me" was actually that guy who volunteer himself for helping Jesus.

What month did everyone get married, and where did you have it? Also, what is your religion and did that play a part in where and when you were married. (If you aren't married, then when and where would you LIKE to be married?)

I want to get married in October, and depending on the weather I'd like it to be outside, surrounded by all the pretty leaves changing colors. I'm an atheist, and my fiance is religious, but we compromised and I said that we can have a priest at our wedding as long as it's held outside and there's no prayers involved. (Luckily in Denmark people are much more easy with religious stuff.)

Okay ... I've picked up on a bit here and a bit there, in some comments on YA and other forums, alluding to some pretty interesting (for lack of a better word) perceptions about the apostle Paul and his epistles.

The gist of it, from what I can figure out, has something to do with Paul setting up the Christian church he wanted to see instead of what Christ intended -- and somehow being so very clever about it that generations upon generations have been fooled (of course, one assumes, until great minds in the present day figured it out.)

Is this a weird fringe thing, or something more? I have seen no cogent, informative posts; they're more like little "anti-Paul bombs", for lack of a better term. In fact, the actual word "Paulianity" is something I just came across today. Taken together, it's all just a little ... odd.

I'd especially appreciate an informative link to a neutral, unbiased site, if possible. But at this point any info at all will do.

I've noticed females occasionally throughout my life that wear long dresses with their hair always tied up but never knew why until recently.

Do Holiness woman ever take their hair down and wear something other than a dress?

Then pray this and MEAN it...
Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you, I repent. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

Greetings, fellow Christians we are all aware of the Devil's purpose or goal for our lives. To steal, kill, and to destroy. But personally why do you think God allows him to live and terrorize the earth? -Because he COULD just kill off all demons and the devil himself- Whats Gods purpose for him?

In other words, have you ever done something on a hunch, walked home a different way, or taken a "wrong" turn in your car...and then found yourself helping a stranger who really needed it, and who was then amazed that you showed up "out of nowhere?"

Why is it that Christians are constantly right and everyone else is wrong? Excuse me for having a mind and trying to LEARN something for myself. That book you all cherrish so much has good points, but there are OTHER books with the same points in them. Oh and before you all call for my head, remember your little book tells you "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and well since your all living and breathing you shouldn't be throwing much of anything my way. Your not always right, your just a majority. Then again in a small town somewhere people who drink poisoned kool-aid are a majority. So tell me, why cant someone else think for themselves? Oh I know because we're evil and doomed to hell. I'll bring the beer!

Humanity is made up of many tiers of intelligence and awareness. The truth is...almost all scientists and high IQ humans know that all religion is false. Anyone intelligent enough to understand evolution knows this reality, without any doubt.

Once you realize all religion is false, history unfolds to reveal the horrors of this disease. Religion posions everything and essentially slows the capablities of man to snails pace, and even reverses it.

The intellectuals of the world have know this for a while, however they constantly have to appease the ignorant herd, or as some call it, dealing with the "tryanny of the weak (stupid, whatever)".

The human species itself faces many possible extinction events, yet, so long as we are diseased by religion, slowed by its prudish mores, plagued by its many wars and terrorist movements, divided by its "us against them" teachings...we simply cant collectively defend the species itself against the impending doom.

I'm Catholic and this is about the papacy, so that's why I am looking for answers from other Catholics. Thanks for understanding.

As the Church teaches, when the pope speaks and teaches of the Holy Scripture, he is infallible then. The Holy Spirit guides God's Word and God is infallible....... My question is -
Pope Benedict had written many things while he was Cardinal Ratzinger. He was not ever declared infallible as cardinal. Now as pope, I know of at least 2 of those writings that now have been declared as encyclicals by him. So, am I to understand that these writings when he was a cardinal, as a Catholic, I didn't have to believe them to be infallible but now I am to believe them to believe infallible? His new writings after he became pope I can accept as infallible. But I don't understand how some of his writings from years ago can now be delared infallible. Can any of you explain this to me?

I haven't read them yet. I've only read ones from Pope JPII.

How do the scholars come up with the 7 year timeline for the Tribulation and which seal and bowl etc will happen during certain seasons? It seems to me that the scriptures used in Daniel and Revelations are difficult to interpret. It's like a huge maze to come up with this timeline. How do you know that this interpretation is accurate?

When studying these scriptures, it seems like someone decided that this interpretation was just going to be accepted, and everyone else has just accepted it at face value because Biblical scholars have accepted this jigsaw puzzle as the correct interpretation.

How do they (scholars) come up with the 7 year time line for the Great Tribulation. Is it possible that the 42 months (3-1/2 years) is based on a different calendar system than our modern day calendar. Or that the 42 months is referring to something entirely different?

How can they be sure that the visions of Daniel apply to the end times and that they should be merged with Revelations?
