Why is it that Christians are constantly right and everyone else is wrong? Excuse me for having a mind and trying to LEARN something for myself. That book you all cherrish so much has good points, but there are OTHER books with the same points in them. Oh and before you all call for my head, remember your little book tells you "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and well since your all living and breathing you shouldn't be throwing much of anything my way. Your not always right, your just a majority. Then again in a small town somewhere people who drink poisoned kool-aid are a majority. So tell me, why cant someone else think for themselves? Oh I know because we're evil and doomed to hell. I'll bring the beer!

Ok, enough jumping down my throat. It wasn't meant to be degrading to christians. It just seems that all religion comes from a book. Books can be changed, edited to someone's personal point of view. Thats all I'm getting at. Now lighten up and re-read it I didn't say all without an exception. It's a generalization.

I totally know what you mean! So yea I get asked all the time why Im Atheist and how Im like siding with Satan.. Ok 1st of all Im not siding with no one. I don't believe in Satan either. 2nd, thats like the most ANNOYING question its like me asking you why do you believe in God. i have my reasons why i dont believe in God just as you have your reasons that you believe in God. i found that i didnt believe in God when i turned like 13. Yea i went to churches when i was younger like when i was 7 until i turned 16 i mean all kinds of churches 2 but i duno, i just didnt find what i was looking for. Oh and just because i don't believe in God, doesnt mean if maybe one day one of my Kids comes up to me and says they believe in it all that im gonna tell him its wrong. i think everyone has a right to there own opinion about religion. mine is i just don't believe..when maybe later on my son will believe in God. im not gonna teach him not to believe in anything just because of what i think and i believe is right. if he goes to church with his friends and he is all about church then good for him i'll stand by his decision.

So yea for those of you that likes to point fingers and say Atheism is sooo wrong and we are going to hell (even tho i don't believe in Santa either) need to just shut up. i think it's totally messed up how rude people can be now n days. we all have our own opinions about things so why don't you keep your opinion to yourself about your Christian beliefs and i'll keep my opinions about how its all BS to myself. Thanks :o)

I hope you feel better really soon.
It's going to be alright.
Take some deep breaths.
I will admit....I am living and breathing. As for the rest of it, I haven't ever told someone he/she was going to hell. I haven't throne a stone, either.

Thanks anyway, but I don't like the taste of beer. May I have a coca-cola instead?

Just a comment on the "casting the first stone" statement of Jesus which people often misquote. After making that statement he told the woman, "Go and sin no more" So isn't that "judging" her?

The fact is the reason people hate Jesus and hate Christians is because we testify of the world's evil. Jesus said to the worldly "The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil."

So go and sin no more!

They are not always right...I just think that they are afraid of being wrong..or even disproved. They live for God and the Bible, they want to be almost perfect, but they cannot...so of course they will try to make up for it or hide it in lousy ways.
I'm Christian by the way. Am speaking from the heart =)

Good day!

That is quite a stereotypical statement.
I know christians who are open minded to different views.
& the majority are usually atheists if you actually compare the number of people in church on a sunday to the people shopping in town on a saturday.

I don't know what planet you are on dude, but most Christians don't think they are right. They just have Faith that they have chosen the right path. Most of us just want to go out there and give everyone else the same cahnce we have to choose that path.

Like in any facet of life you have your extremists. Don't let the actions of a few dictate how you see the group as a whole. Otherwise, you show that you yourself are a short sighted thinker.

Where do you get the idea that people can't think for themselves? They do nothing but, as the community here on R&S can attest to.
By the way, that's no small rock you threw with that question.

i dont think im always right, im not a (know-it-all) but i do believe in the bible and i do believe God doesnt lie. if we are on a bibical subject and one doesnt believe how can he be right? if we are on another subject math, english, science, history, and everything that has nothing to do with God then thats a totally different thing.

The 'Golden Rule' should rule.
Religion of any sort seems to have created more problems than it's solved.
