Having left the Jehovah's Witnesses I am searching for a new group to mix with! I am more interested in the social side than the religous connection. Are momons nice people? What about baptists? I used to have work friend who was baptist and he seemed to be a really friendly person!

In Colossians 3:13 it says to give others as God has forgiven you. My ex-boyfrinend has hurt me in the worst way. I am trying to forgive him. I want to firgive him. Once I do forgive him does this mean that whenever I see him I have to be friends with him as if nothing has ever happened? We live in a small town so I bump into him and his family from time to time? I don't want to be impolite. I wish I could let go of the anger I have towards him but I am not sure how. I am not sure how I should behave towards him once I forgive him? What is the christian thing to do?

Well, just look at the stats.

They both have lasted for over two thousand...

Christianity = Years

Mormonism = Months

Christianity has 2 Billion 72 Million members while Mormonism has 12 Million 5 Hundred Thousand Members.

So if the Mormon missionaries (or perhaps they could do it through polygamy) were to gather 2 Billion 59 Million 5 Hundred Thousand more members they would be as large as Christianity, which is the largest religion in the world.

Seriously, His name has been abused and misused for hundreds of years now. All the horrors behind Christianity, Judaism and Islam have placed God as their motivation as a just cause instead of their own personal gains and prejudices. Not matter how big of an idiot they were.

these guys who killed "in the name of the Lord" didn't kill because "God talked to them", but because they wanted a reason to kill people they didnt' like.

Take this example into consideration. Some moron at work breaks some expensive equipment and when the manager comes and asks who did it he points to the guy that doesn't speak english and therefore looks bad to the boss and has undermineded his confidence. God has been that guy that can't speak english for hundreds of years now!

How UNFAIR is that to God??

I'm just sayyin, there are no official spokespersons for God so His name shouldn't get defamed under any circumstance. Bash religion all you want but God doesn't deserve it.

so in order to follow god i have told him that he is free to choose his own beliefs but if he doesnt believe in christ and the only god i kick him out of my house, and i reject him...i suppose this is what a true christian should do, since it is the same as the free will thing god gives us????

Me and my husband have been married 4 years. This is kinda embarrassing me for to ask but is it a sin to have kinky sex? I'm talking about with your husband and only him and him only with me? I don't want to lose him. We are both Christians and trust in God and Jesus but my husband loves the kinkiness. It's not bad or anything but I just don't want to lose my salvation trying to please my husband. Please don't laugh at this question. It's really bothering me.

My son has stopped coming to church with me. He flat refuses to come to bible study and when I talk to him about the love of Jesus he gets a glazed expression in his eye. Could he be on drugs?

Surely we can not go through life without judging people or we'd be walked all over and gullible.
