It would have to be from birth, so you'd have to go through your childhood again but you could make it "your perfect version of life". You could have whatever parents you needed to get you there. Would you? if so, what would you do different? if not, why?

I have black hair and am thinking of putting a highlighter through it. I wear a kippa daily, i was wondering if there were observant Jews who did dye their hair and is it ok i guess.

I was wondering what you might think of this date today. A lot of people are getting married, and there is even a "Calling" in Tennessee at the Titan's stadium.(For prayer and/or fasting. I cannot remember ALTHOUGH I DID WANT TO GO.)
I'm just curious as to what you think about today. And try to avoid "It's just another day to me.." If that's the case, WHY?
=)

The people that are supposed to be examples of morality. Why do they lie constantly about Evolution and creationism?
Every single argument they have against Evolution is either a bald-faced lie, or a lie by omission (meaning that they leave out KEY evidence because including it, makes their argument fallacious).
Why is that?
Scientists can't get away with that, any that do are quickly discovered.
So why is it that the "evil" Scientists, the people who supposedly "put logic and science before morality" (that is a direct quote from someone here on R&S) seem to be more moral and trustworthy than the people who claim to be speaking the "word of god"?
Makes you think doesn't it?

Don't bother to say there is no Hell; that is beside the point.

This is the question that Peter presented to the council when the Apostles were warned not to preach, teach or heal in the Name of Jesus, Acts 5:17-29. After this they "......called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worty to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, (they ceased not) to teach and preach Jesus Christ" Acts 5:40b-42.

Today we are told the same thing. Are we not willing to suffer shame for His Name as they were. Are we any different that we should obey man rather than God?

It may seem irrelavent at first but I am justified when I ask. John9:4 " I must work the works of him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work." Does this mean I am sinning by reading a business book at night when Jesus hisselve said no one is to work at night.

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
John 8:54

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mark 12:29

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me
John 7:16

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matthew 19:17

and after all this, catholic insists that Jesus is God ignoring all the evidence that proves not. but follow the words of John instead?

Here is what happened I was a witness for 10 years and then I decided it wasn't for me and faded away. Never done anything wrong! I left for a really silly reason because no one would talk to me at the hall! And before anyone on YA says I never tried I'll just say I did try and mix with people by organising social things, showing a personal interest, etc! All I got was the silent treatment or 1 word answers! Will things be different if I go to another city? It was kinda my fault going to a town (located on a isolated island) that was well know for witnesses not embracing outsiders. Should I go back to a city where people are somewhat normal? Will anyone talk to me if I go back? I am afraid of being hurt! I really got used big time by some people on the island!

My interest in paleo-anthropology has been to trace our various developments and migrations, for as people move so too do ideas and beliefs.

The current theories regarding the beginning of spiritual beliefs centres around the Neanderthal practice of covering the corpse with red ochre (thus giving the corpse the appearance of still being alive) before burial.

Homo Sapien examples of spirituality are not as old as those of Homo Neanderthalensis.

That Neanderthals and Sapiens lived at the same time and in the same place is not in doubt. But the real question is how much contact did they have with one other, and what kind of contact was it.

It is my belief that Pagan beliefs stretch back that far, if not further.

Can anyone add to this?
