It seems to me that harmony can only be achieved if one of the two happens…

No religion. As much as I don't want this to happen, technology is ruining belief for all of us and most people don't even know what the word religion or belief is. I wish it was the other way around but I can't really spin around reality.

It's not that simple and it really doesn't have any thing to do with the truly religious or nonreligious, it is a conflict between 2 different sets of people who don't really have any thing to believe in, they feel pathetic and rightfully so and flip a coin choose a side with no foundation for the things they claim to believe and starting spouting off. The fact of the matter is, if you believe in something, really believe in something you don't feel the need to argue, go ahead and tell me that the best pizza topping is mushrooms, say it till you are blue in the face, I will stand in front of you all day long nodding my head,
I know it's pepperoni, so there is no sence in arguing, and for the one little twirp who said harmony is boring, he would probably wet his pants in any type of confrontation, but never the less I wish you all peace

Religion, to me, is just habitual behavior...much like an addiction...and it tries to keep its followers blind to that fact. It is the easiest way to rally and bind together the masses for war that people know of. I don't forsee any time where there will be a complete 'all-or-none' state of humanity. The Earth is just too big for that, there's too much territory to control...unless we have some kind of 'extraterrestrial intervention'. In that case there will be a time of purgatory and then a stretch of strained peace...only to fall, due to a natural disaster. After that, things will return to 'business as usual'.
...By the way, just what exactly ARE those space-shuttles doing up there?

Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Right now there is a greater chance of the One world Government JOINING a one world religion. But it will be false and people will worship the image of the Beast.

Doubtless there would be far greater harmony if there were no religions to spread hate and discontent. But there would still be problems created by those with little or no morality, no education, etec.

God only knows. I wouldn't count on harmony though...in any scenario. Human beings have tried to create their own little paradises throughout history...yet they always manage to upset the masses when they do. There is no end to strife when you have people who are not content or thankful for what they have, and constantly envy what others have.

The Bible says that there will be one religion, after the rapture of the true church. Then the Anti-Christ will implement the one world religion.

The world WILL become one religion except for a remnant of faithful worshippers of the true God of Heaven.

Revelation 13:2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.

4 And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?" 5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain.

9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear: 10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Are you kidding me... the Muslims are going to bomb everyone into either being Muslim or just killing them 1 by 1 OR.... the Christians are just going to get tired of the Muslims and their crap, and nuke them!!

Whichever happens, I don't really care - I think both religions suck... but, that's my opinion - it will be either Christian or Muslim!!
