No one will know for sure. Do some research on Roman crucifixion and see if you can find any records on construction of crosses. I thought most crucifixions took place with multiple people executed on a scaffolding-like structure, so you'll have your work cut out for you.

Legend has it that it was dogwood. The tree is smaller today supposedly because of the shame of the use of this wood for the Crucifixion. The blossom of the dogwood is said to represent Christ on the cross. Whether this story has any truth is, in my opinion, pure speculation. There is a poem or story which I believe is called "The Legend of the Dogwood".

Why does it matter to anyone why it matters. Maybe this person is just curious. What ever the reason though why can't everyone just take the question serious??? There is nothing wrong with the question.

I believe it was a dogwood tree. I'm not sure the size though. The dogwood tree used to grow big and tall, then after Jesus was crucified, it didn't grow tall anymore.

Stop being foolish. This is something that isn't included in the Bible or any Hebrew manuscript because it is of no importance. If you really wanted to get a depiction of it you could always goto the countries where they still crucify people and measure it. In what way will this help you become more like Yashua (Jesus) though? Follow His commandments and don't let sin into your life.

Jesus was not hung on a cross but on a pole or stake, as evidenced by the Greek word used in the scriptures, it meaning "tree". The pagan cross was instituted by the pathetic individuals who attempted to blend the worship of the nations with Christianity to gain power.

Pine.

the Cross of Jesus Christ measured in length very nearly 189 inches (4.80 metres), from 90½ to 102½ inches (2.30 to 2.60 metres). As noted by the Evangelists, two thieves were crucified, one on either side of Christ. Their crosses must have resembled the one on which He suffered; in Christian art and tradition they generally appear lower (St. John Chrysostom, Hom. i, xxvi, on I Cor.; on Rom., v, 5). A large portion of the cross of the good thief (traditionally known as Dismas) is preserved at Rome in the altar of the Chapel of the Relics at Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.
