Is it a sin to read business books at night?

It may seem irrelavent at first but I am justified when I ask. John9:4 " I must work the works of him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work." Does this mean I am sinning by reading a business book at night when Jesus hisselve said no one is to work at night.

I believe that was a reference Jesus made to his coming crucifixion, it is a reference to the fact that his death is imminent and that he must do all he can to pass on his teachings while he can instead of wasting his life persuing earthly things that would not benefit his work for mankind. This is a somewhat supported by the fact that the day was commonly the time which represented life and night was the time that represented death; it's definately not a sin to read at night.

it was harder to work back then ,lamp oil was hard to come by not imposible but hard,, it was dim and nessesary for other tasks ,, at least where jesus lived darkness was realy dark unless the moon was out ,,, thats all he was saying.. word for word is always nice but if you remember a scripture incorectly jesus won't give you a bad grade.. do your best and god will pass you ... he's pretty easy to please....
