Anyone ever consider God's PoV??

Seriously, His name has been abused and misused for hundreds of years now. All the horrors behind Christianity, Judaism and Islam have placed God as their motivation as a just cause instead of their own personal gains and prejudices. Not matter how big of an idiot they were.

these guys who killed "in the name of the Lord" didn't kill because "God talked to them", but because they wanted a reason to kill people they didnt' like.

Take this example into consideration. Some moron at work breaks some expensive equipment and when the manager comes and asks who did it he points to the guy that doesn't speak english and therefore looks bad to the boss and has undermineded his confidence. God has been that guy that can't speak english for hundreds of years now!

How UNFAIR is that to God??

I'm just sayyin, there are no official spokespersons for God so His name shouldn't get defamed under any circumstance. Bash religion all you want but God doesn't deserve it.

wow,very well put! god loves,period. how could he do or be anything but love? god does kinda speak,thru people places and things. for example: he's the guy who hands a homeless person a 5dollar bill,without a second thought,its just a natural thing for him to do.

G-d doesn't need a spokesperson to speak for him. He is not silent, or silenced by us. We decided a long time ago to seperate ourselves from G-d and since then we have tried to push him into the background while making him a scapegoat at the same time.

In reality, we do have represenation for G-d: Creation. Creation itself is the manifestation of G-d in the physical world. It carries the presences of the Divine within itself and was created by the hands of G-d. We too, as part of the creation, carry a spark of the DIvine within ourselves. A representive of G-d. But if we chose not to listen then it is of no help to us.

What would you like - G-d to whack us all over the head and tell us to wake up? That would take way freewill.

The pope is the official spokesperson for the god of the catholic religion, but not of the protestant religion - but, wait, it's the same god! Oops, what to do!!
Anyway, god's word is supposedly expressed in a fairy story called the bible or the koran, etc, so the people that perpetrate these crimes in his name try to find some justification in these tomes.

People need to wake up and take responsability for their own actions! Somehow, they seem to have a problem with this idea, and the idea that not everyone see the same concept of God.

God is a big God and He can take care of Himself. While I admire your desire for people not to cast aspersions on God's character or misrepresent Him, I wouldn't worry about Him so much as the people who are doing the wrong.

In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the boot was intact.

The police said there was no way the boot could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the boot was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
