This is what the Bible says:

(Revelation 11:18) “. . .But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.””

Obviously God is not happy with those who are ruining his earth, since his orginal purpose was for mankind to care for the earth..."and to bring to RUIN those RUINING the earth"!

(Psalm 37:9-11) “. . .For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”

(Isaiah 11:6-9) “. . .And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together; and a mere little boy will be leader over them. 7 And the cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull. 8 And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. 9 They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.”

(Isaiah 2:4) “4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.”

Seems that Jehovah (YHWH) had a very different plan for the earth than what most of mankind has managed to do to it, but God gave us the following reassurance...

(Isaiah 55:10-11) “. . .For just as the pouring rain descends, and the snow, from the heavens and does not return to that place, unless it actually saturates the earth and makes it produce and sprout, and seed is actually given to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.”

(Isaiah 45:18) “18 For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.”

Our Creator, Jehovah in the English language translation, according to our Bible, gave us dominion over the Earth.
It is here for us to use, NOT to WASTE!
To not use those assets in a conservative manner would be to ignore the capabilities He gave us and to not become what He wants us to be.
To waste and ruin is wrong and "He will bring to ruin those ruining the Earth."
Be forewarned!
