I agree. I think it is amazing that they live every day to its fullest, and are responsible for their choices, actions, decisions and the repercussions thereof.
I also tend to look at the effects that a belief has on people. The majority of the atheists I've met here and in real life are intelligent, fun, kind, caring and supportive friends.
I think its wonderful.

Edit: Dcubed obviously has no understanding of theists in making such a crass statement.

That is an interesting site, I like the idea that atheists would rather build hospitals than churches.
Being an atheist myself I think the idea that we all try to live each day to its fullest is beyond me, I 'm afraid, I just struggle to get by.
Also I don't feel a member of a club that shares high ethical morals, my atheism is more about not finding religious beliefs believable and so not feeling the need to belong any particular club.

Atheism is a religion in itself. It is a faith or belief that there is no God, which is objectively unprovable. Unfortunately too many atheists are of the fundamentalist mindset and cannot tolerate the existence of religions having a God or gods. They object vehemently to the sight of anything religious, to hearing anything religious or the existence of any religion, except their own. They feel they must convert the world to atheism by force of law.

The concept falls short in practise, because there are no moral absolutes, just definitions set by the whim of circumstance.

Examine your conscience and tell me if Atheism like Islam can exist without propaganda? Why is it that most Atheists finally convert? Very few go the other way ;in fact I know of none.

Unfortunately, you are wasting your breath/keystrokes.
Understanding atheism is very difficult for those who believe in pixies and gods.
