I believe it is and it helps us to fulfill Jesus' command to love others as we do our selves.

Yes but, Gods knows your dilemmas and needs. When you:
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)
When you do these things, you need to follow through in your everyday live and not worry for tomorrow today (Mathews 6: 31 - 34).
The bottom line is to ask God how to solve a problem or get through something that seems overwhelming. Sit back and watch God go to work in your favor, That is what he is looking for. Faith in him, that he can be there for you, instead of you trying to solve a problem on your own and not knowing the outcome like God does. Prayer is okay for other people to pray for you but you need to go into your prayer closet in private and speak to God and fellowship with him. Our church members do this all of the time and if a problem arises
on any one of us, you just watch God take care of it. i have experienced this many of times.
I do not want to bust your bubble there but James 5:16 is telling you the opposite of what we are supposed to do. You are a sinner (missed the mark) for life (1 Jonhn 1: 7 - 10). There is nothing that you can do to prevent from sin. Remember that Jesus, the sacrificial lamb, is our new covenant that shed his blood for you and cleansed all sin from you and God will remeber your sins no more (Hebrews 10:17). Jesus full filled and nailed the law (10 comandements) at the cross (Colossians 2:14). God cicumsized your heart and wrote his laws, so you would know wright from wrong (If you have faith in Jesus, then you are not under the law but if you do not beleive in Jesus then you are still under the law. When you accept Jesus into your heart, God circumised your heart and wrote his laws, so you would know from wright and wrong (Hebrews 10: 1 – 25 God puts the law into our hearts, the sins are paid by Jesus). Do not missunderstand me but you can not go out into the world and do what ever you wish and cause havoc (Romans 6: 1 - 3). You do not want to tell other people your faults and have them heal you for that. Through your obedients and fellowsihp with God is the only way.
YOU ARE JUSTIFIED BY YOUR FAITH AND NOT OF YOUR WORKS!

Yes, it is absolutely necessary to pray for one another. God commands us to love and forgive each other and to pray for each other. To speak true to each other, boldly without fear and compromise as we live truth ourelves. Jesus is our example, and we will do what He did, if we are truly Christian. And, we are told if we are obedient to the Lord, we can do all He did, including laying on of hands, and healing, delivering ppl, all of it. It is not WE who do it, But God gives us the power to do it, thru the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and clearly says to do all He did and we have the power to do that. Just that most of us dont know who we are in Christ. Study and know more about the Lord today. Such a powerful, wonderful message, to KNOW who we are in Christ. God bless all of you. continue the search for more truth daily. If you ask and obey, and are faithful to the Lord, He will give you the answers to every question you have, and give you the annointing power of Jesus Christ Live in the SPirit, Walk in the Spirit,, and KNOW you are on the right path to knowing Jesus and bein in an intimate relationship with Him. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. and You not only will pray for everyone, including your enemies, but you will do so much more. Have a wonderful Lords Day today.

Yes. There comes a point where this is clearly understood. You begin to understand the true man of God's creation and how we are all connected in Christ. Then it is easy to pray for another, hate disappears, and love guides your actions and words.
