In this generation and hopefully more so in the next...
are we on the verge of spiritual bonding ?

I have seen it on a small scale here on R&S recently
people uniting against bigotry
people from every walk of life , every belief system...
do you feel something is happening ?
do you feel it is only a matter of time before it becomes global ?

us against them ... love against hate .... leaving differences behind ?

The God of the Israelites, revealed to Moses was four Hebrew consonants "YHWH" (Used in the Old Testament 6639 times) called the Tetragrammaton. After the exile (6th Century B.C.), and especially from the 3rd century BC on, Jews ceased to use the name Yahweh for two reasons. As Judaism became a universal religion through its proselytizing in the Greco-Roman world, the more common noun elohim, meaning "god," tended to replace Yahweh to demonstrate the universal sovereignty of Israel's God over all others. At the same time, the divine name was increasingly regarded as too sacred to be uttered; it was thus replaced vocally in the synagogue ritual by the Hebrew word Adonai ("My Lord"), which was translated as Kyrios ("Lord") in the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Old Testament

With Latter Day Saints being the church with the most people leaving I would like to know some of the reasons why you are leaving. It is also one of the churches with the most converts so is it that they get you in with all the good sounding stuff and then when you see all of the horrible things they believe about people you realize that you can't be apart of that (ie. the racism, adultery, polygamy)?

Please spammers don't keep writing that Mormons don't practice polygamy anymore because Joseph Smith and Brigham Young did. They did this in modern times when they knew better. It's not like they were some primitive cave men. You can't hide that now can you:)

Why drag all of humanity into it? Why create a never-ending sin cycle?

1. When did Jesus say that you are saved by grace?

(Jesus spent his life to teach us that we are saved by being born-again into a spirit of forgiving others.)

2, Why do most Christians (on this site) ignore Jesus' instructions and quote Paul's private letters to his friends?

(If you "believe" in Jesus it means you believe his messages about how to get along with each other.)

3. Why do Church Empires believe Paul's story of how to be saved, rather Jesus' way of being saved?

And think exactly their religion is right and correct...? Why do we believe what we think is right? Are we afraid to loose the ground out of our feet?

i was just as shocked to see the pictures of glasgow airport yesterday....and cant understand why some one in the right mind would want to do such a thing....yet after reading some of the comments ppl have posted on here, it seems that i wont be able to walk the street without being called a terrorist and told to leave the country. Why cant you get it through your heads that not all of us dream about blowing innocent people up, or becoming a suicide bomber(any Muslim would be able to tell you that suicide is against Islam and a one way ticket to hell no matter what the reason) why do all Muslims get grouped as terrorists? it makes me angry when i see comments from people grouping everyone in to the same circle...I am a Muslim......I am not a terrorist....dont stereotype me with the minority few that have nothing to do with Islam. A lot of this is done in the name of the religion yet if you were to question these so called terrorists they will just following orders, its all poltics

I still consider myself a patriot... but something is very wrong here. We are one of the most hated countries in the world. With our great wealth, why aren't we one of the most loved? Shouldn't we be leading the world in diplomacy and setting the standard of compassion for human suffering? We spend billions and billions on the war machine as children starve to death in Darfur. I'm not quite as proud to be an American as I once was. I'll probable get hammered for this, but I've got to say it anyway.

I've seen all sorts of questions on here & I thought ppl were more informed than they are. I was seriously wrong. Is there anything that you question?

Do you believe that the Bible has been changed by MAN b/c of political agendas? Or do you just skip in the daisies with the Bible under your arm smiling like an idiot?

Do you believe that scientists are capable of manufacturing a deadly disease & then spreading it amongst ppl?
Or are you still skipping through the daisies believing EVERYTHING in the Bible.

Do you believe that history has been changed and altered, and even erased to again fit political agendas?
Let me guess....your still skipping thru the daisies.

There are sooo many other things I'd like to mention...but why waste my time?

I open my mouth in disbelief. Those in control have you exactly where they want you.

Why do you believe the scriptures? Why do you think there are so many different scriptures (in numerous religions) written about apocalypses? It is impossible for all of the scriptures to be true. Who thinks that dark evil spirits from the spirit world may have something to do with this?

I've asked before but I have new findings.

Jesus mentions many times to worship his God YHWH and that no one is good but his father and God.

The references to Jesus as any sort of deity was made by men - disciples and apostles (John1, etc.)

What do you all think of that?

It's was like a painting. but slowly moving.
I saw a dark sky with some orange and red clouds. As I looked down I saw three figures standing on what appreared to be small cliffs. just below that I saw people fighting with swords. I was also fighting with a sword and a shield. I heard my name being called and I Looked up because it seemed like it came from above.
When I looked around, I was surrounded by light. It seemed to light up the ground and people around me. Then I defended myself with my sword and my shield, as three warriors attacked at the same time. Then I heard my name called again, twice. I was on one knee holding my shield high deflecting a blow from one of the three. Then I heard my name called again and I woke.
This dream is happening more frequently. (did I spell that right). I am having difficulty falling asleep after as I try to figure out what's going on. I vibrate after I wake up and as it slows down, I thimk I fall asleep. I Dont feel like there nightmares.
