i was just as shocked to see the pictures of glasgow airport yesterday....and cant understand why some one in the right mind would want to do such a thing....yet after reading some of the comments ppl have posted on here, it seems that i wont be able to walk the street without being called a terrorist and told to leave the country. Why cant you get it through your heads that not all of us dream about blowing innocent people up, or becoming a suicide bomber(any Muslim would be able to tell you that suicide is against Islam and a one way ticket to hell no matter what the reason) why do all Muslims get grouped as terrorists? it makes me angry when i see comments from people grouping everyone in to the same circle...I am a Muslim......I am not a terrorist....dont stereotype me with the minority few that have nothing to do with Islam. A lot of this is done in the name of the religion yet if you were to question these so called terrorists they will just following orders, its all poltics

I Agree with you there 100%

Islam is a loving and peacefull religion...
These Bin Laden Brain Washed extremist have sploit it for all Muslims around the world in every country!

Musims are not at fault here, its the army of corrupted terrorist led by peopel like Bin Laden that we all need to worry about.

And just for infomation... Bin Laden has recruited Blacks, Whites, Green, Pink... You name it.

All in the name of islam?
Well thats what the twisted Bin Laden thinks...

But if you ask me?
Islam does not promote this kind of behaviour, and is against our Religion, Thus making Bin Laden a non beliver of islam.

I Hope 1 day we can live in peace and Remove terrorists from their homes and streets.... but that is very unlikely as terrorism of all kinds will always be here with us untill this world ends.

What a shame! :(

Because even after the worst outrages not a single Muslim leader here or abroad went on TV to condemn them outright.

Because Muslims do not give any information to the police, even when bombs are made next door to them

Because you are an honorable exception. All your fellow Muslims consider supporting a fellow Muslim a greater duty than seeing justice done.

Because all polls show a very high proportion of Muslims silently agree with the terrorist actions and hate the West.

Because Muslims can never live in harmony with any people they do not dominate. We should keep out of each others countries. Then we would be OK

Sallams
In times of fear and disaster, people need someone to blame as a way of recompense for their failure. Deeply distrubed and upset, people will blame anyone, no matter how innocent, just to give them some sort of goal to work upon. They need some way to channel their wounded pride and anger.
The media only increases their paranoia. Malcom X once said that the media can do what it wants. Before WWII the media made Americans love the Chinese and Russians while hating the Germans and Japanese. After WWII they made us love the Germans and Japanese whilte hating the Russians and Chinese. He proposed that we used the media to re-educate the people, but thats a bit out there.
A mob's a monster; heads enough but no brains. Its a natural reflex. After being assailed, people are naturally both fragile and hostile. Its a natural thing. Its now just a matter of curbing that hatred. There isn't much we can do about it.
These attacks are a crime against humanity and no sane individual can ever support them, let alone any Muslim.

Thank you for putting up some sensible intelligent thoughts on the matter. Anyone who has read the Koran without intention of interpreting it for their own ends knows what the real deal is in Islam, unfortunately the majority of people who enter into `debate` have not read it and hence `opinions` are guided by a lack of knowledge and prejudice ...one thing I have noticed on this site and query is WHY does Yahoo allow 'questions' which are not actually questions at all but someone letting off their narrow-minded prejudicial bull and inflicting it onto this forum?? something like 'why do muslim women allow their men to control them and dress like crap'.. maybe youve seen it, I cant remember the bufoon that posted it but it obviously is not a real question .. so why do yahoo allow words that try to provoke hate and racism when it is something which the law of the land does not allow?

Yes i do understand what you mean, i have many friends that are Muslim, and i have asked them a question which they seem not to answer, if we are to believe that their are many Muslims in the world that are against this action, and i believe there are, why have they not done something to stop it?
So often you hear how many Muslims their are, yet none of them seem to know the terrorist, or know someone who does, maybe if we were to see more Muslims fighting against it then you would not be thought of in this way.

Think about it..
Love & Peace

Just because of one minority of radicals and extremists, the whole Muslim community or Ummah is blamed..

Let's say you were in England or anywhere, and you are not a Muslim. Your whole neighborhood welcomes you as you just moved in. One day, a Muslim moved in to your neighborhood. You see him as so polite, well mannered and kind to all in the neighborhood. But your neighbors call him a terrorist, a suicide bomber. Would you follow the crowd as "a sheep following the herd" or would you accept the truth that this kind man cannot be a terrorist?

May Allah guide us all..

I am sorry that people are so stupid that they cannot understand the difference between true Muslim's and terrorists. The only bad thing is not enough Muslim's are coming out to demolish these terrorists (TV, Print, etc...). We are a society that only believes what we see. Some people only watch the TV, so therefore they do not understand that there more peace loving and kind Muslims in the world than there are terrorists. May God Bless You.

This is not all one way and people have to except the way the middle east is today is because of the remanats of colonism in these countries.

The fact is that the most extreme country in the middle east is the west biggest ally, why people need to look deeper this is not a one way street.

No matter what religion people belong to, or whether they belong to any religion at all, people can do truly awful things.

It's not because of their religion that they do this. If there was no religion, people would still kill each other. Even if they use religion as an excuse, if it wasn't there, they'd find another excuse.

If you hate the atrocities that are caused by people all over the world, and want them to stop, then I'm on your side. No matter what God you do or don't believe in.

I think you're right that those of right mind don't do such things.
It bothers me too though I'm not muslim and white anglo-saxon. Whatever that means..
Muslims aren't grouped as terrorists by everyone.
Only by those who can't or don't want to think for themselves.
