When I was growing up I went to CCD classes and Purgatory and Limbo were taught to us authoritatively. No my understanding is that these two places in the afterlife are not part of Catholic teachings, and some are claiming that they were never taught as doctrine. What is the current status of Limbo & Purgatory.

The first three commandments are eternal, yet christians seem to think it's perfectly okay to break each of them. They don't even think ONCE about it.

Some say that Jesus is a part of God, so they are not breaking the commandments because in worshiping Jesus, they are worshiping God. This is a mistake, as Isaiah 44:6 clearly points out.
– So said the L-rd, the King of Israel and his Redeemer the L-rd of Hosts, "I am first and I am last, and besides Me there is no G-d.
The declaration by G-d, "… I am the first …", indicates that He has no father. When He said, "… I am the last …", it means that He has no begotten son. Finally, when G-d proclaimed, "… besides me there is no G-d …", it shows that He does not share His role with any other god or entity – He has no "partners".

This comes from the original Hebrew text, not the reworked Gentile messiah propaganda, so it is not a matter of mistranslation.

So, knowing this, how do you reconcile your faith against the original?

Let me get this straight: The creator of the universe will actually change the laws of nature -- the very laws that he, presumably, wrote -- to bring me what I want, if only I ask him nicely?

Have I got that right?

Ok, so when I get older, I would like to get married. But I DEFINITELY DO NOT want kids. I put the emphasis on do not. I have never pictured my life with kids involved. So when I get married, I will be using sex for pleasure, NOT reproduction. And I read on some website (don't remember which one) that it was a sin to have sex for just pleasure because it said that God created sex only to reproduce. So I just wanted to clarify and make sure if it was true or not. I hope it isn't lol!! Thank you!!

Does it mean that God was physically living close to planet earth when the guys tried to build a tower to reach up to God?
Why did God say that it is possible for men to do anything if He does not stop them. It beat my imagination because even space shuttle travelling at many thousand metres per second takes decades to reach pluto.( the nine Planet.) Does it mean that the Unverse is really expanding? Is God living on some planet far away?

Hell is basically death anyways so that's where we're all going. Look, you got the freewill and you complained and whined. What more do you want? Do you want to be God also? Would you like to judge others, or wait you already have judged them. Look at the web you've spun...does it weigh a ton?

Go live in your paradise afterlife with big gold mansions and all the food you can eat with no darkness and no ugliness. I'll just disappear.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3

AND

For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water 2 Peter 3:5

I asked for intelligent answers to legitimate questions, to both Islamic and Christian fundamentalists, and what did I get? Disrespect and personal attacks. I speak now only to the ones who pose as Christians: of what I know of the teachings of Jesus, you are as Christian as a midsummer mess of day-old alligator poop. I shall trouble you no further, little people.
