M Theory (AKA: U Theory) will have virtually zero effect upon religion. Electromagnetic fields and parallel string theory will never address the issues of faith and religion, for the simple reason that evolutionary theory has so pervaded all aspects of science and education, to the point of blindness to alternatives.
Evolutionary theory was even doubted by Darwin himself and thought to be highly spectulative, and a long-shot at best.

Building new theories upon unproven old theories does
nothing but create a house of cards. It WILL eventually topple.
