Humanitarians....first ones there when help is needed.
Try to do good always...be good examples to others...
laugh to ourselves when people go on their mormon bashing rages, because we know it isn't true.

Here are some majoring differences between Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and mainstream Christians:
We do not believe in the Trinity. We believe God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to be three separate beings
We believe that God restored His true gospel on the Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith
We believe the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ
We believe that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon from an ancient document written by early Americans through the power of God
We believe that our prophets receive modern day revelation
There are other things in our doctrine.
People do not like the "rules" we have. We do not do drugs, drink alcohol or coffee, we abstain from pre-marital sex . . .

The Mormons I've known have been wonderful people. As has already been stated, there are wonderful and less-wonderful people in every religion.
While I would never become a Mormon because I believe their teachings are contradictory to the Bible and sometimes racist, I certainly don't hold any ill-will toward Mormons personally and it doesn't stop me from loving my Mormon friends. Certainly, I wouldn't insult them by assuming their lack intelligence....as many people seem fond of doing.
We can hold to different spiritual beliefs and still respect one another.

I am a Mormon. I was born a Mormon and I am just like everyone else except I have standards. I cant date until I am 16 and I dont drink hot drinks caffenine or beer... etc. I try to be a good example to my friends. I think we are good people and I feel sorry to the people who talk trash about us because they really dont know who we are.

Those who talk about them and not become one are usually talking from ignorance and bigotry. If they left the church, fine
good luck. If you really want to know (that's if you really want to know) about the mormon church ask some local mormon missionaries in your area to come visit your home.
or even better next sunday go visit a mormon church
and meet some interesting people.
It will say "The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"
or visit

don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't kill people, aren't gay, dress modestly. no sleeveless prom dresses, no tattoos, no body piercings except one piercing in each ear that is if any piercings.
we don't wear bikinis, we have food stored for emergencies, we read the bible, and the Book of Mormon, we go to church on sunday, we don't work on sunday,We don't drink coffee, or tea that isn't herbal, and we believe in god, jesus christ and the holy ghost. We don't get married to more than one person, (mormons DON'T practice Polygamy)
people who are mormons but aren't married don't live together.
and numerous other things.

Well i'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (mormon). I think the reason why alot of people don't want to be one is because of all the rules, that the world just belives is ok, Like we don't drink beer, coffee, we don't smoke swear or chew, we don't have sex before marriage, so that tells you why lots of people don't want to be one, because they, don't want to give up that stuff.

They're ordinary people like anyone else. I dated a Mormon guy once. He was perfectly nice. I liked him a lot.
I differ theologically with Mormons, but I've never met one I didn't like. They seem like earnest, pleasant people, on the whole.

I've ony had good experiences with the ones I know. They're hilarious, but there are other funny people too.
For some reason, I think mormons have alot more fun. I know that's stereotyping but I've never met one that has a bad attitude.

We are much like anybody else. We want to be free to worship according to the dictates of our own conscience. That is what the founding fathers of America wanted as well. We want to live free to take care of our families, to be good citizens and promote love for one another as Jesus would want us to do. We love God and His Son, Jesus the Christ. We try to serve one another and in that way love our neighbor as ourselves. We are faithful to our spouses and teach good morals to our children. The men respect the women and vice versa. We believe in taking care of our bodies so that we can function more fully in serving each other. We love music, singing and dancing. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
I'm sure there is an LDS church near you. Introduce yourself and get to know them better. I think you will like what you find out.

Mormons are good people who live their faith. I don't agree with it. I'm ex mormon so they aren't nice to me. Most of us are born mormon or are converted by the missionaries.
