So you think believing the Bible has something to do with "man made" diseases?? I haven't skipped since I was a child, but I rather like daisies. If smiling is an indication of idiocy, I suppose you have never been caught with a smile on your face. Those in control don't like the Bible any more than you do. I believe EVERYTHING in the Bible. Sorry, I guess you'll just have to keep walking around with your mouth hanging open.

Of course the political dominance has changed the text, but are you saying you don't believe the Bible?
There are FACTS and PROOF that the Bible was written by GOD himself, and that no one can change the hidden meaning of the Bible.NUMERICAL codes prove that.
EXAMPLE:
in the bible there is a code that, when it is translated back to it's original Hebrew, in which the letters also represent numbers, the lines add up to 7,11,7,11,etc., and when you calculate the odds of this occurring naturally in men's speech, it totals 7 billion, and the odds of this, 11 trillion.
This proves that no one could have written the code except God, because the book itself is from many different TIME periods, and many different MEN wrote it. This also shows God as being outside time, and speaking through man.
I have more examples if you want to hear, otherwise I just hope you open your heart and mind to what is here already, but constantly overlooked for no good reason

Yes, they are. And you are at the head of the parade. Why do you believe the claptrap you spouted? Where is your research? Have you even bothered watching the Naked Archaeologist on the Science Channel??? The Bible IS trustworthy, and has been proven so many times throughout history. Just because you refuse to believe the obvious is no reason for the rest of us to blindly follow YOUR dogmatic beliefs.

I myself think that the bible is a big storybook with one purpose, to control us...It was not written by god, but by men that were in positions of some influence. Just as in every religion, there are laws that are made to control your mind, your very thoughts. Even witchcraft tells us of the rule of three, the wiccan rede and karma. Harm to none is the short version, that was also created to control the actions of witches. People make these rules out of fear of what others might be capable of. Heck, even sexuality is governed by a set of rules, in general religion it is like, "You can't do this this way, and that is against the law of nature and god." My belief is that if it brings happiness, do it! I may seem like a megalomaniac, but no everyone has to live by the rules. Sorry for the rant. As for trusting in a Deity to fix all of your problems, then, well sorry, it ain't happining. You must work to make your life what you want it to be, no one else can do it for you. I am no athiest, because I have a saying, "To believe in nothing is to merely exist, not live." I believe in anything that has proven itself worthy to believe in, not like the masses of "sheep" that follow a shouting minister, with "Praise Jesus!" and "Thank you God!" You make your own life, and to believe everything the Bible tells you is just serious denial of personal responsibility, again, sorry for the rant.
